Hwadam Botanic Garden&Gwangmyeong Cave&Korean Folk Village Day Tour

The favorite part of the itinerary is the Hetan Forest. The Hetan Forest is very beautiful. The guide let us stay in the Hetan Forest for enough time. There is enough time to line up for the park car + go shopping. The ice cream experience is also very good. It is the first time to make ice cream by yourself. The chocolate taste is delicious. It’s very cold in Guangming Cave, so you can bring a thin coat. If you haven’t been there, you can go and see it once. There is not much surprise. The red wine inside is delicious. I want to take it back, but I will give up when I consider consignment. The day is a small group departure. Mr. Si Daonan is a Chinese who can speak Chinese. The six-seater car is very new and wide. The driver has good driving skills and sleeps soundly throughout the journey. The driver takes care of every member of the group throughout the journey, helping us take photos and recommending them. It’s was a great deal! If no private transportation and I think it’s not possible to visit few places in one day. Too bad we din get to take the monorail, it’s kind of difficult to get the monorail ticket, always sold out. As for foreigner and we have to buy the ticket from the ticketing counter, local can get the ticket online. Our tour guide is good and nice, no regret for joining this day trip!

The itinerary was well arranged. We went to Tanhe Botanical Park first, and then to the Ethnic Cultural Village. After dinner at the cultural village, there was the first performance. We didn’t waste time waiting to watch the performance. Then we had free time to visit. By 4: 00 is the second performance. It is very good and beautiful. The farmers in the village... the houses of poor families... the houses of rich families... each has its own characteristics. Worth going.

During the entire trip, the most beautiful and worthwhile place to visit is Hedanlin. The red leaves are so beautiful. Due to too many tourists, we have to walk up the mountain on the way out and take the monorail on the way back, so we don’t have enough time in the itinerary. Although there are many stairs in Gwangmyeong Cave, they are not too difficult to climb. There are not many tourists in the cave and it is relatively deserted. (Tour guide) recommends a good lunch. But the car arrangement was a bit disappointing, because the journey was relatively long and the ride in the thin car was very uncomfortable. I hope it can be improved.

I definitely missed the peak of the foliage but it was still a pleasant visit. Autumn really is best experienced in a place like Hwadam Sup. The transfer was quite comfortable and even though the guide spoke minimal English, it was still a smooth transaction. The cave visit was also an interesting experience.

Because this time it was a walking tour, I was able to get back to the car in time😆I was very satisfied with the beautiful scenery🎉

Hwadamsup was great. Didn't get to take the monorail because the tickets were sold out. Gwangmyeon cave was interesting because this is a new place to me. Saw cute children at the ranch. Arrival back at Myeongdong was about 7.30pm instead of 5pm.
