- Please note that some areas on the tour route are subject to availability and alteration due to the COVID-19 safety plan
- Please note that In line with the current Victorian Government health directives, all venues within the MCG will only be accessible to fully vaccinated patrons (aged 12 & 2-month)
- Please note that children below aged 12 & 2-month do not need to be vaccinated but must be accompanied by fully vaccinated adults
- Unvaccinated patrons will not be permitted to enter the MCG unless they can display a valid immunization medical exemption provided by Victorian Government-approved health professionals
- Please note that as visitors arrive at the MCG, they will be asked to bring up their COVID-19 digital certificate to display to MCG staff at the entrance gate in one of two ways:
- Scan the QR code outside the entrance gate using the Services Victoria App on your smart device
- Show their COVID-19 digital certificate in the same smart wallet on their device, that houses their digital ticket from Ticketek. All patrons will still be required to “check-in” to the MCG via the Services Victoria app
- Please note that the visitors without a smart device will be required to provide a printed version of the COVID-19 digital certificate or a copy of their full Immunisation History statement provided by the Australian Government (with a coat of arms), which can be used as evidence of vaccination. An immunization statement provided by a general practitioner (GP) will not be accepted
- Please note the Australian Sports Museum and MCG Tours will not be running on MCG match days unless otherwise specified

The Melbourne Cricket Ground was truly fabulous.
It was a great experience to visit the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Our guide was with us, explaining the history of the MCG, showing us many locations, including the ground, and was able to take a photo.
Even though one of the club matches was ongoing, we were allowed to enter the ground at certain locations. We were also briefed about the history of each and every corner of the ground. I was happy to see the images of Shane Warne and Dennis Lilly statues on the ground.

A must do for all the cricket lovers. Guides are so patient, talks a lot of the history and have passion for the sport. There are beautiful photos of cricketers, stats showing all the best players. You get to visit the players dressing rooms, media rooms and go down touch the grass at the ground. Totally worth it.

Had a really great experience doing the MCG Tour! It was fascinating to learn about the history of the Melbourne Cricket Ground and get a behind-the-scenes look at such an iconic sporting venue. The tour was well organised, informative, and our guide made it interesting with plenty of stories and fun facts. Definitely worth doing, even if you’re not a huge cricket fan. A must-visit when in Melbourne! 🏏
