Formerly known as the Huaqing Palace during the Tang Dynasty, the Huaqing Pool is a series of hot springs in a beautifully tranquil area by Mount Li, one of the three major Qin Mountains near Xi'an. This hauntingly beautiful locations will capture the imagination of anyone visiting it, not just because of its beautiful architecture and layout, but also for the romantic love story behind it. In this area, you'll see the inscription on the gate bt famed Chinese literary Guo Moruo, and see the gigantic cedars standing at post. You can explore the corners of this beautiful palace, where you'll see palace-style plunge baths as well as the famed "Nine Dragon Lake", an artificial lake constructed purely for the grandeur of the palace.
