So totally worth it! The crew were very knowledgeable and professional. They really took efforts to explain about the whales we were trying to sight and when we do sight the whales, they took efforts to get us the best viewing angles. We got to see Orcas, humpbacks, sea lions and seals.
The tour guides are very knowledgeable about marine life and familiar with whale behavior, making it easier to spot whales. The speedboat used for the excursion was well-maintained, so it felt quite safe, and complimentary hot drinks were provided. This whale watching experience was excellent; we were fortunate to see humpback whales and orcas (unfortunately, I didn't have professional camera equipment to capture them immediately), as well as sea lions. It was truly an unforgettable experience! 👍🏻
The whale watching boat meeting point was easy to find, and there were many staff members on site who explained everything in detail. The guide on board was very patient and kept the experience engaging. We saw many sea lions and seals that day, as well as a pod of orcas. Free hot tea and hot cocoa were available on the boat. They also send photos to your email after the activity. Highly recommended!
Although I didn't fully understand the English explanation, there was one main guide, one assistant guide in the back, one guide assistant/crew member in the cabin, one photographer, and one navigator on board. Hot drinks were provided and refilled for free in the cabin. I sat at the front of the boat because I heard the view was better there, but it was so cold! The view was indeed good, but even in mid-summer, it felt like I should have worn a light down jacket. The explanation was detailed and excellent. We didn't see any orcas, but we saw humpback whales twice. The photographer sends the pictures to the email address you provided when purchasing the ticket. You need to exchange your ticket for a physical one; there's a shop at the address provided. After exchanging it there, you wait at the nearby pier.
We saw whales, sea lions, and eagles. The boat was quite stable, so no one got seasick. There was free hot chocolate and coffee on board.
nice and safe suitable for all ages professional friendly informative went literally the extra mile!
