can experienced edo style village, as I am a tokusatsu fan, there's a Kamen Rider and super sentai Exhibition hall and a Kamen Rider store that sells their merc, I even saw few props that used in the series also exhibit in glass cases, besides there's a Evangelion photo ops taken free for you unless you want a bigger size you have to pay for it. On and off can see some actor dress in traditional robes and dresses and did their performance among us, is a good experience for people whom wanted to experience edo life style.
A wonderful experience at Toei Kyoto Studio Park, a stop I highly recommend, especially for those who love traditional Japan and samurai cinema. I purchased tickets through Klook, and once again, the service was incredibly convenient: easy booking from the app, a simple-to-use voucher, and hassle-free entry. The park is very atmospheric; it feels like stepping onto an Edo-period movie set, with many areas to explore, shows, and interesting attractions. The organization was excellent, and booking with Klook made everything even more practical. A super positive experience, highly recommended.
Price: maybe worth the money queue times: no queue as I've bought tix in Klook. Can show the tix to the staff and they will let u in, skip the queue. Facilities: They have a prayer room for Muslims. It’s shareable men and women. no wudhu area ya. Shows: I watched the ninja show. Free, no need to pay. The show was great 👍🏼 overall the place was quite big, many to explore. It has restaurants and cafes inside also.
Awesome, at the time I was there, the film studio was also turned into a Yokai town. There was a parade with a little dance number and everyone could join in. Neon Genesis Evangelion was amazing and I personally thought the Haunted House was super well done. I had a very nice, relaxing day there.
The park is currently under renovations, but it was still enjoyable and interesting. The Yokai parade is a little short, but very cool! The characters linger around the park for photo ops, so that is also neat. There are really good shows that are entertaining and well performed! The park does close at 5:30 but you can purchase tickets for a night experience, which is also amazing with all the lights and the appearance of the studio park atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I visited this theme park specifically for the Hyakki Yagyō (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons) event. Using this ticket was a great deal, but keep in mind that other activities require additional fees. The admission fee mainly covers photo opportunities. The theme park isn't very big; without participating in extra activities, you can pretty much see everything in about half an hour. The theme park is located far from public transportation. It took me about an hour and a half to get there from Osaka. After the Hyakki Yagyō event, when I wanted to leave by train, I had to wait for several trains before I could board, which wasn't ideal. If you're visiting as a group of four, a taxi might be a better option!
My kids and I really enjoyed the Ninja 3D maze, Samurai sword show, Ninja performance, and the sets. The Cursed Doll haunted house was super scary! You have to pay for all the individual activities inside the park.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. My niece wanted to go specifically for the Evangelion stuff. It was surprisingly fun. It’s neat to see the movie sets. It has a cute gift shop when you walk in. The restaurant inside the gift shop had really good food. We got the cake in a cup from the vending machine. I thought I was going to be bored and just going for my niece but I actually had a very pleasant time. We were there about 2 hours.
