I fondly remember the years when I often went to Friendship Store with my mom. Every time we passed by, she would point out and tell me about the Garden Hotel. I'm so happy that this is my first time staying at the Garden Hotel. The hotel is incredibly well-maintained, and its interior design is magnificent and classic, making an unforgettable impression. The room itself is very modern and extremely comfortable. The hotel service is truly top-notch; everything from check-in to phone inquiries and various requests was handled to my complete satisfaction. This time, I also tried several of the hotel's restaurants, including the Waterfall Restaurant, Lai Wan Court, and the Revolving Restaurant. My wife and I stayed for two nights and felt that this hotel was super good! Although the hotel has a history of 40 years, it is well maintained. The rooms are tidy, the supplies are exquisite, and the facilities are complete. The hotel lobby, corridors, and restaurants are all elegantly decorated, showing nobility in plain things. We had the buffet breakfast for two days in the revolving restaurant on the 30th floor and the waterfall restaurant in the lobby downstairs. There is a subway station 50 meters away from the main entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient for travel.

Arrived at the hotel around 12 noon, and perhaps because it was Christmas, there were a lot of people checking in. We didn't expect to get our room card. After registering, we left our luggage and took two stops to Dongshankou to eat and browse. We returned to the hotel around 3 pm, wanting to get our room card, but after waiting for a long time, they said it wasn't ready yet. A little disappointed. Since we couldn't go to the room yet, we went to the museum. We came back about an hour later, and they said it wasn't ready yet. Not wanting to wait any longer, we went out to Zhujiang New Town to play. We returned around 10 pm and finally got the room card. We were assigned the last room on the 9th floor hallway. Since it was so late, it didn't matter. After this stay, I feel the arrangements were a bit chaotic. As for the room, it was clean and tidy, the environment was good, and it was convenient to travel by car, near the subway station.

Check-in was slow and the procedure took more than half an hour. However, after booking two non-smoking twin rooms, I could only get one first and did not get an upgrade like other Klook guests. A fruit bowl is provided in the room, but except for grapes, other fruits are self-service with a knife. The wooden furniture in the room is aging, the toilet and shower share an open door to cover each other, and the sanitary conditions are insufficient. The wooden door that separates the bathroom and bed is also cracked and has not been repaired. The buffet dinner included in the hotel package does not have many types. There are no hot vegetables except salad, and there are no ready-made waffles or hot pancakes for dessert. The level is not as good as what happens in this five-star hotel. But there was also an unexpected surprise. Breakfast was arranged to the revolving restaurant on the 30th floor. The food and environment were worth high marks. The waterfall garden inside and outside the basement of the Garden Hotel is worth a visit, and the museum on the fourth floor is rich in information and is a small value-added discovery.
