Reviews
Very easy and efficient way to explore Hiroshima. The hardest part was finding the ticket booth to redeem the tickets (its outside by the main bus station)
The loop bus was cheap and saved us some walking from site to site. Picked up tickets at the North exit of the station out by the bus terminal. The ticket is a scratchy - scrath off the day and month you are using it for. It was a hot day so sitting on an air conditioned bus was blissful! The stops were pretty easy to find with the maple leaf symbol. Our final ride was cut short at Hiroshima Station with no explanation. We needed to keep going on the loop and the driver told everyone to get off - not nicely either! The next bus was another 40 minutes so we took an uber instead. So the bus loop was good until it wasn’t!! But good value for money.
Very good, convenient. Sometimes on time, sometimes not, but better than taking a taxi.
They didn't accept my QR code. They wanted the ticket, but the station office was closed at 9:00 a.m. I had to pay 240 yen for each ride. I'm going to cancel the payment.
Given the limited number of available buses and the fact that the bus service only operates in one direction (no return route), it is extremely inconvenient to use. I purchased a one-day pass but was only able to use it once. For tourists who don't understand Japanese, perhaps the lack of options means there's no need to get confused, but it would be beneficial to realize that only offering a one-way route (without the option to go in reverse) essentially forces tourists to adhere to a specific schedule.
