Truly worth a visit when in Granada. Our assigned time slot to enter the Nasrid Palace was 8:30am and we were let into Alhambra at just around 8:30am, then a scenic walk to Nasrid. Don’t forget to bring your passport or ID used to book this. Just a bit strange that they scan your passports at every area. We thought it would just be at Nasrid since not everyone pays for this but it was scanned at least 3-5 times.
Alhambra is a must see. I did as a day trip from Madrid via train. eventhough I was able to make it , but I almost missed the entry time to the NASriz palace due to Alhambra is big and the signage can be confusing. Allow at least 2-3 hours to enjoy the Alhambra.
The ticket experience was great, just showed my voucher and got in on time. Make sure to have passports and have the time correct for Nasrid palace. I would highly recommend buying this ticket, it gives you access to Nasrid palace, Alcazaba, Charles V palace and Generalife all within Alhambra.
The Alhambra Palace is a magnificent Islamic architectural treasure house in Granada, Spain, and its beauty and historical weight leave me speechless. My impression was that I was first overwhelmed by its grand scale and intricate decoration. The gardens, fountains, and corridors in the palace are all elegant, and the intricate tilework and sculptures of the Nasrid Palaces are particularly impressive. The Alhambra Palace is characterized by the unique beauty of its Islamic architecture, as well as the sophistication of Moorish culture and its spiritual atmosphere. For example, in places such as the Lion's Garden and the Caliph's Hall, the sound of water echoes in the silence, giving you a sense of being one with nature. These places are not just buildings, but have a special meaning as places to calm your mind and experience history. The Alhambra is not just beautiful, but I was also deeply interested in its historical background. From the Moorish rule to the Christian conquest and subsequent cultural fusion, the Alhambra has remained a witness to history to this day. Looking up at the Alhambra Palace at dusk, the golden glow was fantastic and overwhelming. The sight of the palace silhouette rising up against the mountains was truly an unforgettable sight. Overall, the Alhambra Palace is a special place where history, art and architecture all come together, giving me new impressions every time I visit.
The Alhambra Palace is a masterpiece representing Spanish Islamic architecture and art, and is a place where you can feel historical value and beauty at the same time. The elaborate decorations and delicate patterns of the Nasrid Palace are eye-catching, and the Alcazaba offers a panoramic view of Granada. The peaceful atmosphere of the Generalife Gardens gives visitors a sense of leisure and emotion. Every moment was amazing, and touring this place was like a journey beyond time.
I visited the Alhambra Palace in temperatures well over 30 degrees, but it was worth braving the heat to see. There are similar palaces, castles, and gardens in Seville and Cordoba, but this place has incomparable value. We recommend viewing the night view from the observatory opposite the day before, and be sure to purchase the Nasrid Palaces in advance and view them together. I think it would be appropriate to watch it for a total of 5 hours.
Although it was quite a hot day, we enjoyed Alhambra. The architecture was quite satisfying to behold. The garden was lovely and full of instagrammable areas. The water fountains gave respite to our thirst. We are happy to got to visit Alhambra during our trip to Europe.
So easy to buy it online. I saw a lot of people just popped up there to buy the tickets at the entrance. You can do that but it’s really hot and waste your time. I would buy online anytime. The price is totally reasonable and Alhambra is just precious. Bring your sunglasses and put on sunscreen. You can also leave your stuffs like normal size Bagpack in the locker for free if you have entrance ticket. The locker room is near bathroom. I just bring my phone and passport and water bottle with me.
