When I first saw the price, I wondered why it was so expensive, but then I found out that the cable car alone cost 72€, and I instantly felt like it was okay! The weather is very good, you can climb to the top, and you can also go sledding down. There are cable cars and trains available. The itinerary is very smooth. The tour guide is very enthusiastic to help us take photos and explain in detail. I think it is worth the price!

Review for: Zugspitze Day Tour with Summit Access and Scenic Train Ride from Munich

Had an incredible time on this Zugspitze day tour! The mountain views were simply breathtaking, and the scenic train ride was one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip. The whole experience was hassle-free, with great organization and clear instructions throughout the day. The summit access gave us plenty of time to enjoy the views, take photos, and explore. Definitely one of the best day tours I've done in Europe. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Monica, provided a very clear explanation on the day of the tour and even handed out homemade paper maps to help everyone find the meeting time and location after free time. The bus was also equipped with a restroom (though I didn't use it). Traveling solo and joining a group tour means interacting with travel companions from different countries, which is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, you can learn about different cultures and exchange travel experiences, enriching the trip. But on the other hand, group members come from different backgrounds with varying travel habits, and their time management and behavior may cause slight inconveniences, requiring more tolerance and flexibility.

The Zugspitze Glacier: Venture onto the glacier, where ice and rock converge. Guided tours reveal crevasses, ice caves, and the fascinating world beneath your feet. It’s a humbling reminder of Earth’s ancient history.

No need to worry about transportation directly to Zugspitze; the guide explained everything very clearly. There was a bit of traffic on the way back, but the tour bus had a restroom available for use if needed.

This scenic spot is very dependent on the weather. If it fogs up, you can hardly see in the distance. It will start snowing in mid-October this year. You have to be mentally prepared to be slapped in the face by the snow.

The guide dud not share anything during the bus trip, and the driver and guide smoke e-cigar, v stinko. the bus fully pack and we cant get to sit together as a family. For convenience, the tour is about 20% higher in price than the DIY trip. still worth picking up.
