You must definitely do this. Even if you don't know English well, just going and seeing it with your own eyes is worth it. Upon arrival, boarding, and traveling, the guide always checks the headcount. Seeing it right before my eyes was truly moving, and the drive there was also incredibly beautiful.

it is very windy in that day but the tour was nice. i enjoy it. if you wanna save 20 e for not going to see the temple directly, go the the hill nearby or the cafe is not a bad choice

Arrived at the meeting point, provided my name, and the guide led us to a large bus. Along the way, the guide explained various landmarks the bus passed. We arrived at Cape Sounion around 5:35 PM. The guide handed out a QR code to buy the 20-euro temple entrance tickets on the official website ourselves (though you can also buy them at the entrance, but it wastes time waiting in line). I bought a ticket for the 4:00 PM–5:30 PM slot, but since it actually closes at sunset, the ticket scanned normally for entry. The guide gave us a little over an hour to explore the temple. The sun hadn't set yet, but it was getting close. Those who don't buy a ticket can still view the temple from a distance on a hill outside, though going inside for a closer look is much better. There are restrooms outside, but the lines are very long, so plan accordingly.

Watching the sunset at Tanah Lot Temple was worth it, even with the full moon and the slightly longer travel time; the unforgettable scenery made up for it. Thank you to our guide, Katerina, for her enthusiasm and for expertly handling the traffic. Due to time constraints and limited food options, I recommend preparing in advance. On the way there, choose a seat on the right side of the vehicle for ocean views.

My partner wasn’t feeling well on the day that we booked. I spoke the manager and he moved us to the following day at no extra cost. As I had nothing to do that day he offered me complimentary access to walking tour which was great. Really appreciated them going above and beyond. Would recommend using them. The tour guide on the coach was informative and fun.

Basically, it's the cost of taking a bus to see the sunset, which isn't too expensive, but if you book a tour in Athens city center, it'll probably only cost about 25 euros. You'll arrive at the location pretty early, so it's recommended to bring some food to eat, otherwise the wait will be quite long. Buying a ticket on-site costs 20 euros, which you'll need to pay separately.

It was an amazing place to see the sunset. The travel time was longer than the stay in the Temple of Poseidon but it was worth the trip. The guide and the driver were very professional and kind. I missed my pickup time though so I called up the office and I was able to catch the bus. Please check your email and expect that pick up time and place will be different from what you booked.

Great tour and good tour guide who explain the history about the place and around it. Transport was comfortable too and receptionists were kind to answer my questions. Just note the departure time which vary according to sunset timing.

Nice short trip in the evening to cape sounion and it was worth it!
