What to expect
Wake up to incredible sunrise views of Angkor Wat silhouetted against the skyline. This unforgettable morning cycle guides you through the back trails among the ruins of the Angkor Kingdom. With an early start, you'll join a small group of early risers eager to see the sunrise. Once they've returned to bed, you'll have the rest of the morning to explore the Angkor temples in the soft dawn light and, most welcomingly, without the tourist crowds. Follow your guide on a walking tour of Angkor Wat before settling down for a peaceful breakfast just outside the temple grounds. Once you're revitalized, the rest of the day will be spent riding the back trails through ruins and forests, with stops at both iconic and lesser-known temples including Bayon and Ta Prom. You'll take lunch by a small reservoir then as the day heats up, you'll drive back to town and your hotel.

This was my favorite excursion during my short trip in Cambodia. Viewing the temples was great, but witnessing the local community’s lifestyle while biking is a memory I’ll never forget. I don’t know any other tour to Angkor Wat that also provides that local touch to their tour. Sarak was an informative tour guide who kept our small group together and safe. He also raced me once, which was fun. Sarak’s photography skills to capture each group member was a nice extra touch, and now I have good memories to share with friends and family when I return home. Thank you, Sarak!
This tour is definitely worth the price! You’ll learn a lot about the history of Angkor Wat and other temples. It’s such an easy and worry-free way to explore the temples and biking around was fun and easy - you get to see a lot while biking around! My guide was very attentive and made the tour fun. Breakfast, snack (delicious fresh fruits and coconut juice) and lunch was amazing too! You won’t be feeling hungry on this tour!
Thank you to my guide Chen for spending a wonderful day with me. The sunrise at Angkor Wat was beautiful, but what impressed me even more was riding a bike through the jungle trails with few tourists, it felt like a little adventure. Chen is very knowledgeable, and in addition to the introduction of historical knowledge, we also had in-depth discussions about the problems faced by each other's countries, which moved me very much. I highly recommend everyone to join this different Angkor Wat tour!!!
Extremely happy with the way this tour was organised! Chen was our tour guide and he did an incredible job in creating an unforgettable memory of Cambodia for us. We started our day by watching the sun rise on Ankgor Wat, after which we cycled our way through the jungle to different temples, thus avoiding crowds and seeing things that would have not otherwise been possible. Chen is an incredibly prepared tour guide (and skilled photographer), and through him we learned the history of the country, the Khmer empire, and the building of Angkor. Highly recommended!
this is a serious must try experience, rather than just sitting in a tuk-tuk or mini bus, we cycled around between the three temples and got to see how some locals live. Ride wasn't particularly tough or tiring, was in a group of 5 so we were able to move quite smoothly without delay. Our guide Mr.Sophorn was very good, very patience and very knowledgeable, sharing with us the interesting history behind temples. and yes, being a solo traveller it helps to have a guide who takes photos for you!
This is a great experience to explore the Siem Reap. We cycle along the jungle trek with spectacular lake view, we cross among the village with paddy field.... and thanks for our experience tour guide Mr Sophorn for the explanation of the history, as a private photographer and taking care of us along the journey. Breakfast was set up in the hut, refreshing towels, cold water and fresh fruits will be served too. It was a five stars service! Highly recommend to friends who like to explore Siem Reap with bicycle !
This is the highlight of my trip to Siem Reap! I am traveling solo and I'm happy that the tour pushed through even when we were only a small group (3). Our guide, Mr. Chen, took really good care of us (along with our driver Mr. Chit/Jit (sorry, I forgot his name)! I was picked up on time, and we're given a small snack while we went to our first stop (the Angkor Wat) to catch the sunrise. Having a local guide really makes visiting the place so much better. It was the end of October and it was the rainy season in Siem Reap so there was no sunrise, BUT, watching the lightning against Angkor Wat was majestic. I don't know how to explain it but I really loved watching the lightning happening at the back of Angkor Wat. The bike tour was really fun, it's not for the faint-hearted though especially if you're going during the rainy season as the tracks in the jungle can be muddy. Wear (trekking) sandals instead so you can easily wash off the mud. And of course, the food. We were all well-fed. I didn't feel any hunger at all! I didn't even get to finish my lunch because I was still full from all the snacks - all the fruits were delicious and fresh! Thank you, Mr. Chen for a wonderful experience in Siem Reap. It was a really fun and memorable tour. Appreciate you sharing all your knowledge about all the places we've been to and sharing your personal experiences and stories as well. Thanks also to the German couple that I was with! Sharing stories with people from different cultures is a lovely experience. It was nice meeting everyone :)
Three visits to Angkor, traveling in this way is really special, traveling through the jungle as if I were shooting in the tomb
it was truly amazing. I would recommend this to anyone seeking some sport but at the same time culture too. Our tour guide was amazing and very helpful. love it keep up the good work!
Very nice experience and we were all very well taken care of by the Grasshopper Adventure. Our guide explained all the cravings on the wall and background of respective temples that we visited. This activity was really fun and well organised however be prepared to be very tiring by the end of the trip. :)
