Port and Douro Wines Tasting Tour

This is much better than the popular winery tours that everyone goes on. You can learn a lot about port wine at FONSECA, and you can also do various wine tastings at the small winery you visit afterwards. The guide is very professional and friendly, you can meet foreign friends, and you can taste 10 glasses of wine (be careful not to get too drunk). It's the best in many ways!

The small group setting made the activity experience very happy and fulfilling! 👍🏽 The tour guide was also very attentive to each member of the group. The winery experience, including the guided tour and wine tasting, was not at all sloppy, making it a very happy afternoon activity! At the end of the activity, the tour guide enthusiastically recommended their own list of favorite Porto restaurants 😊. Overall, the activity has a very high cost-performance ratio and is highly recommended!

It was a walk along Gaia area to try the different shops offering wine from Duoro Valley which I think you can do yourself but the tour offers it at a slightly better price from what I’ve surveyed. However, since port wine is not for everyone I do suggest trying some port wine somewhere first to determine if this tour is something you would be interested to do. especially if you are not a wine connoisseur

Throughout the tour, we were introduced to good wines, took a city tour along the way, introduced some wines, met a lot of good people, and talked to them. It was a great time in many ways. If you come to Porto, be sure to join the tour!

It was so much fun and the guide spoke English slowly so I learned a lot. I learned a lot about the types of Portuguese wine and how to taste them.

The tour guide was very friendly, the explanations were easy to understand, the atmosphere of the group was also very good, the winery chosen was very special and not an ordinary big winery brand, I highly recommend participating!

In terms of value for money, it's definitely a good deal. The amount is small because it's a tasting, but you can drink a total of 10 glasses of port wine and still wine, and there are explanations in English, so you can feel like you're sightseeing. At a regular winery, tasting just 3 glasses would cost 20€, so visiting 3 wineries and tasting 10 glasses is a great deal. The guide was friendly and nice.

I was very satisfied with this itinerary. The explanations were clear, the walking distances were very short, and the points of interest were close together. There was also enough time for us to have drinks and chat with other tourists.
