I came in expecting a bit of a workshop on how to properly paint a shisa and was initially surprised that I can paint it however I want. I was left to my own devices after being handed the materials and had a lot of fun painting. I only wish I requested for more shisa to paint.

It is really cost-effective to purchase this itinerary online in advance, and you don’t have to queue up and squeeze in the crowd on site. I suggest you take advantage of this.

I was recommended this experience by a nice lady in Osaka and I couldn't thank her enough. I had so much fun painting my Shisa to my liking. I just would have liked to get a bit of history about Shisas even as a printout. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The experience was a 10/10. I wish the workshop had included a bit more about the history of Shisa and Okinawan culture, but I'm not complaining. The staff was very friendly and provided us with all the materials and protection needed to avoid damaging our clothes.

The experience with my second grader was really fun! The staff was very kind and they provided Korean explanations so I was able to experience it comfortably^^ It was nice that I could do it while looking outside, and there was also a space where babies could lie down and play or rest.

Very relaxing and fun activity to paint our own shisa statue. Recommended for couples. The staff are also very kind and will explain to you step by step. At the end of the session they will wrap the shisa nicely in a box

I participated in the experience in a corner of a travel agency office, but the environment and convenience were much better than those at Ryukyu Mura or Okinawa World. The explanation was detailed and friendly, and I liked that I could choose and paint products other than shisa. The only downside, which is understandable, was that the brushes weren't in great condition because many people were using them alternately. This made it difficult to add detail when painting, which was a shame.

Love the Shisa Painting experience, it was so theraupretic and fun. I would highly recommend to people who are visiting Okinawa to try out this activity. The service provider was very friendly and even recommended us to eat at a nearby restaurant, which was good! :)
