Henan Museum, founded in 1927, is one of the earliest museums established in China. Its campus covers an area of 126 mu (approximately 8.4 hectares), with a building area of 55,000 square meters, located at No. 8 Nongye Road, Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City. It currently houses over 170,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, particularly featuring prehistoric artifacts, Shang and Zhou dynasty bronzes, ceramics from various dynasties, jade, and stone carvings. Currently open exhibitions include the basic display "Magnificent China: Capital Chosen in the Central Plains" and special exhibitions such as "Henan in Ming and Qing Dynasties," "Ancient Stone Carving Art in the Central Plains," "Danxi Auspicious Bronzes: Bronze Art of Chu State in the Central Plains," "Treasures of Ingenious Craftsmanship: Collection of Ming and Qing Dynasties Treasures," and "National Treasure Special Exhibition." The Huaxia Ancient Music Ensemble performs from Tuesday to Sunday (at 11:00 and 16:00). The cultural and creative areas are located in the boutique shop on the west side of the first-floor lobby, the book cafe on the third floor, and the pop-up store at the west exit. The social education experience hall is on the first floor of the East Annex Building.
