Xilitu Zhao is a relatively large temple in Hohhot, located in Dongxingwang Lane in the old city, commonly known as "Xiao Zhao" by locals. It was originally a small temple, and only after renovation and expansion during the Qing Dynasty did it reach its current scale. The Grand Scripture Hall is the main building of Xilitu Zhao, resplendent and magnificent; the main hall adopts a Tibetan structure, with its four walls adorned with colorful glazed bricks, and a monument to Emperor Kangxi stands in front of the hall; in the southeast corner of the temple complex, there is a white Lama temple, which is also quite grand. Xilitu Zhao is one of the most exquisite temples existing in Hohhot, and every year, Buddhist gatherings and religious activities such as "Cham" dances are held here, making it exceptionally lively.
