Shangfangshan Forest Zoo

Suzhou Shangfangshan Forest Zoo (formerly Suzhou Zoo) is the only zoo in Suzhou that integrates wildlife protection and breeding, animal scientific research, popular science education, ecological tourism, and leisure and entertainment. It is also China's South China Tiger Suzhou Breeding Base. The park covers an area of approximately 67 hectares, surrounded by mountains on three sides and adjacent to Shihu Lake to the east, boasting a superior natural ecological environment. It houses and exhibits rare wild animals such as South China tigers, Siberian tigers, African lions, Asian elephants, and giraffes.
