Our boat driver was fantastic—after the ride, he gave us cold towels to cool off from the heat and even took our food order. Truly an all-in-one service! 😂 The owner also personally checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and felt safe, which made us feel very welcome. A few tips: Arrive early (boat rides start at 8:00 AM) to avoid the crowds. If you’re booking a Grab, search for “Coconut Restaurant & Basket Boat Tour” instead of “Nipa Basket Coconut Boat.” The famous basket boat spin costs 100,000 VND and is definitely worth trying! And don’t forget to tip your boat driver—they work hard to make your experience fun and memorable, and they’ll truly appreciate it. ❤️ I rarely write reviews, but this experience was too good not to share. Highly recommended when visiting Hoi An!

This is a very worthwhile activity to experience. The captain will continuously encourage you to try the spinning thrill ride (which costs extra and requires switching to a specialized boat). If you're interested, you can give it a try, but there's no pressure if you don't want to participate. After the activity, there are also optional photos available for purchase.

One must ride the coconut boat to complete the experience of Hoi An. There will be music when you get to the river. Make sure to tip your boat driver.

we had a wonderful experience at coconut forest in Hoi An. the boatman was nice and professional. The scenery was peaceful.

The coconut forest is beautiful and vast, and the boat ride is quite affordable. Exploring the island by boat is a lot of fun. It's best to go in the morning when it's less crowded and the water is fuller and cleaner.

We thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride, the tour operators were good and took care of safety. You do have to pay extra for spinning your boat but you can watch it for free as well.
