• This glacier tour includes variable terrain, sharp rocks, slippery ice, and changing weather conditions which are common
• This tour includes an easy walk over the moraine to the ‘Ice Falls’ area, the main highlight of the glacier
• Weather: Summer daytime temperature ranges from 12.78-21.11 Celsius, but it can be -15 to -12 Celsius cooler on the glacier itself
• Bathrooms are available at the check-in location at Hicks Creek and also once guests arrive at Matanuska Glacier Park, right before heading onto the glacier (Restroom breaks are limited, it is recommended to use the facilities before the tour)

• Glacier access fee: Guest are required to pay a glacier access fee as the access to Matanuska Glacier is privately owned, this fee will be collected at check-in

• Please allow an extra 30 minutes to ensure you arrive on time. Construction, summer traffic, and motor homes on the Glenn Highway may cause delays, and guests should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled trip time for check-in and waivers.
