Venice Day Trip from Rome: Train, Waterbus & Aperitivo

Anto is an amazing tour guide. She's very clear with all the instructions, and would check on everyone to make sure that everyone is having an amazing time, and no one is getting lost. The group were very fortunate that the weather was really good. I'm also happy to experience Venice Carnival on the day of the tour. A free ferry ticket is also included on this tour, from San Marco to the train station. We gather at a pub for free snacks and Spritz (or whatever drink) before heading back to the train station. It was a long, but super fun day. Such a great way to end my Italy trip. I highly recommend this tour.

Antonella is very organized. She repeats instructions so you would understand very well. I met a lot of great friends along this tour. it also give you the freedom to go around Venice on your free time.

I'm very satisfied with this trip. It was a small group, only six people. Our guide, Alessandro, was very attentive to everyone's needs and arranged the high-speed train tickets. We also had plenty of time for sightseeing.

It was a last-minute decision to book this tour but I’m glad I did. Despite my limited time in Italy, I was able to see the highlights of Venice in a day. The departure time via fast train was good enough to give us about 6 hours to explore Venice. Overall, it’s a good, hassle-free option if you really only have a day for Venice. DO NOTE: There’s a possibility that your group won’t be a sole English-speaking group. Ours was mixed with Spanish-speaking participants. This may have divided the guide’s attention in terms of translating twice but it didn’t matter for me. Just something to take note if that’s important for you. Lastly, I hope the package has an option for those who: 1) Don’t want to use the water boat and 2) Would like to skip the happy hour meeting. I believe these would’ve cut down the cost a bit. I found just walking to the station more efficient compared to using a sort of crowded water boat which takes 40 mins to get to station. Overall, good deal for convenience.

Great tour to explore Venice and the busy town. Easy access to the town with the train. Awesome experience.

The female tour guide will take care of tourists who do not understand the language, contact each passenger attentively, and take care of each passenger's transportation and assistance home like a friend and host. 100 points tour guide.

Our guide Jacob was GREAT. Lots of fun and very friendly and helpful. He told us the best places to eat and how to get a gondola ride at a reasonable price. And while we spent time with the guide, we also broke off on our own. Meeting for the train was smooth as well.

Our tour guide was incredibly responsible. Our family doesn't speak English, but she patiently explained everything, communicating with us using translation software. She took us on a wonderful tour of Venice. I highly recommend Ando; she's a very enthusiastic guide. She even worried about whether we'd get back to our hotel when our return train was delayed. We're very grateful to her.
