Bangkok Floating Market & Ayutthaya UNESCO Private Full-Day Tour

I booked this tour twice. First in 2023 with my husband, then in Aug 2026 with my mom. And like the first time, everything was well organized, and we had a great experience. Our driver and tour guide, Warin, was wonderful throughout the entire trip. He was very kind and informative. He shared interesting information about the places we visited and took very good care of us from start to finish. We appreciated his thoughtful touches, like providing free ice-cold water and lending us a hand fan because of the heat. Warin is also a great photographer! He took so many nice photos of us. Driver, tour guide, and photographer all in one! The itinerary was packed, but everything went smoothly. It was a great experience exploring attractions outside Bangkok. I chose this cost-effective tour for my first trip to Bangkok in 10 years. While our driver & guide, Nat, didn't speak Japanese, we were able to communicate without any issues in English. Having a private taxi instead of a shared bus was very convenient and stress-free. Nat was always considerate of our need for restroom breaks and was a very kind guide. He was also incredibly knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about Thai history that I had never heard before. He knew all the great photo spots and had excellent photography skills, taking a large number of pictures – I thought he was a professional photographer! It was a great help to have him photograph our entire family since it was a family trip. Thank you for showing us many photo spots that tourists and even locals might not know about. When we requested elephant riding, which wasn't on the tour itinerary, you were flexible and accommodated us, and we were very happy to ride elephants. When we go to Bangkok again, our family hopes we can request Nat as our guide again. Thank you for a wonderful day!

I highly recommend this tour. My spouse and I booked it and had an amazing experience. To start, I mistakenly specified the wrong hotel for pickup, which made us an hour late. The guide who picked us up didn't show any displeasure and proceeded to guide us. Because of the delay, he adjusted the schedule and took us to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the Maeklong Railway Market. As expected of a local guide, he took many wonderful photos at key spots. At the market, he pointed out the best deals and even shared some of the fruit he bought himself, which was heartwarming. After lunch, on the way to the Ayutthaya historical park, we saw elephants, but drove past them. We had requested an elephant ride in addition to the regular tour, but since we were an hour late, we assumed we wouldn't be able to do it. Before arriving at the Ayutthaya historical park, the car suddenly stopped. We were wondering what was happening when he treated us to Roti Sai Mai, a local sweet of stringy cotton candy wrapped in a chewy crepe, which has been recognized by Michelin for two years in a row. It was very delicious. At the Ayutthaya historical park, he provided guidance at key points and took photos, and then gave us free time, which was the perfect balance. After that, just when we thought we were heading back, he told us that we were going to ride elephants! It was my first time seeing so many elephants up close, and I was so excited. I was truly impressed by the price, the planning, the consideration, and the responsiveness. Despite my mistake in specifying the wrong pickup location, I am nothing but grateful to the guide for making all my dreams come true. It was the best day ever. I'm so glad I booked this tour. And I'm glad our guide was Kevin. If I ever go to Thailand again, I would definitely ask for Kevin. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Kevin, our guide and driver, took great care of us. He took us to the best places, taught us about local customs, took many photos for us, and most importantly, looked after us. This tour is highly recommended because in one day you can see two essential sights of Bangkok.

I don't think you can see all of this in one day by yourself. First, we went to Maeklong Railway Market and had about an hour on our own. We did some shopping and saw a real train. Next, we went to the floating market, and it was great eating coconut ice cream on the boat. We had lunch at the shrimp center and went to the Ayutthaya ruins. They also explained things to us. We wanted to ride an elephant, so we extended the tour by an hour and went there halfway through. On the way back, we were dropped off at Jot Fair Night Market instead of the hotel. If you ask, they will take lots of family photos at various places, so it's great for family trips. I think the price is also reasonable. I highly recommend it.

There are no other companies that will undertake such a long journey on a private tour, so I think this is a very valuable plan. I was able to communicate with the driver using a translation app, and he asked me about my preferences in advance, so I had no problems at all. For lunch, when I said I wanted seafood, he took me to a seafood market-like place, where I was able to eat authentic seafood dishes by measuring the grams and specifying how I wanted to eat them, and in Ayutthaya, I was able to try my long-awaited elephant ride for an additional fee. On the way back, I was dropped off at the airport instead of returning to the hotel, so I was able to use my time effectively and had a very satisfying day.

He was very nice, approachable, and made us feel comfortable from the start. He explained the history and background of each place we visited, which made the tour more meaningful. What impressed me most was how he always found the perfect photo spots and even offered to take our pictures—such beautiful memories, especially with my mom! Kevin also drove safely and quickly, and made sure we wore our seatbelts at all times. We followed the full itinerary smoothly and arrived back right on time. All the places we visited were absolutely stunning and unique—definitely one of the best travel experiences of my life. Our driver (Klaow) was very insightful and very patient with us the whole day, offered to take many photos and knew all the best spots. Very easy to communicate with (even when I got the translation wrong), answered all of our questions and shared some valuable insights. Very accomidating with our requests for water and even provided some recommendations for souvenirs and food. The day itself was most enjoyable (but hot, a dry heat), it was good to learn about Thai history and culture through the various information boards at each site. The train and market was incredible, definitely a unique experience and the floating markets were bustling and chaotic at times but easily managed by the locals. Overall a pleasant day out and a big shout out to our driver for slogging through the heat with us, taking many photos for us and making the experience a memorable one!!
