Reviews
Visited with my kid and there was quite a lot to do. The kids' video room and the free media art were good additions to keep the kids entertained. We stopped by Cafe So Sweet for some cool drinks and ice cream, which tasted good. Riding the electric bicycle was fun, too. Overall, it was a good experience with plenty to enjoy.
Anseong Farmland was so much fun. We loved getting close to the animals, seeing the gorgeous flowers, and riding bikes. It’s definitely not just for kids as an adult, I had an absolute blast! Waujeongsa Temple was the highlight, especially with our guide's amazing storytelling. It was fascinating to see traditional Korean temple culture mixed with different Buddhist styles from around the world. As someone who appreciates Orientalism, seeing the massive Golden Buddha Head in person was breathtaking and unforgettable.
The Golden Buddha Head was Incredible!" - As soon as I entered Wawoo Temple, my jaw dropped at the massive golden Buddha head. Anseong Farmland was also huge, making me feel like I was inside Windows wallpaper. I went during the Pink Muhly season, and the photos came out so well. Highly satisfied!
I visited when the sunflowers were in full bloom, and it was like a sea of yellow. Just as the guide suggested, taking a photo of the giant Buddha head from a lower angle made it look truly majestic. The meeting point was easy to find at Myeongdong, and the bus was clean and comfortable.
Today, I visited Anseong, primarily to see the incredibly vast flower field. Anseong Farmland offers truly stunning visuals; you simply can't find such an endless expanse of flowers in Singapore. Although the walking was a bit tiring, the photo opportunities were definitely instant-worthy, especially the small wooden house in the middle of the flower field, which has a great aesthetic. Afterward, I made a detour to Wawu Jeongsa and was truly impressed by the giant golden Buddha head. It has a completely different feel from the temples we're used to seeing in Singapore, as it's built into the mountains, surrounded by a very serene environment. Walking in, you feel a sense of calm. The entire trip offered both beautiful scenery and culture. For those who love taking photos and checking out new places, a visit here is definitely worthwhile.
Had a v personalised trip since there was no other participants. David the tour guide was friendly and accommodating …
Even as a Christian, that giant Buddha head was absolutely INSANE!!! Loved it.
