Trunk & Soul Elephant Home Phuket Experience

One of the best first experiences we’ve had with Trunk & Soul 🐘🤎 Shoutout to our guide Anan, who lives there with his family. They have 3 elephants who grew up with them since young — Mary (31), the talkative one; Boonam (50), the old lady; and their cheeky boy Tanva (9)! 🥹 Anan was so welcoming and made us feel like part of the family while sharing stories about the elephants and their traditions. There was no one else when we went, so we basically had a private session 🫢 We got to feed, shower, mud bath and scrub the elephants! They provide free drinks, a change of clothes and slippers, lockers plus showers, towels and soap. They even helped take photos for us throughout the experience 📸🥹 We also got to try his mum’s cooking and let me tell you… CHEF’S KISS 🤌🏻🤤 Everything was SO good! They also taught us how to make thai dessert which we could even bring home and share with our loved one. Would 100% come back when we’re in Phuket again. Such a wholesome and memorable experience!

This is one of the best experiences here in Phuket, an unforgettable experience. The elephants are treated with so much love and affection, and you feel right at home. You realize they truly care for their elephants and love them very much. They give you all the time you need to enjoy the experience and feel peaceful and calm. They provide personalized, top-notch service; they never rush you or make you feel like a tourist. Instead, they make you feel like part of their family and help you enjoy the moment you share with the elephants. I recommend this tour to anyone who comes here; it's also very, very clean.

lovely experience🩷 we were the only couple for this timeslot and the whole 3hours felt like a private tour with the elephants and staff! also there are 2 friendly cats n many chickens around. clothes are provided to change into and shower areas are provided too. clean toilets n shower area :) 100% would recommend and will be back !!! thank u for the great experience🥰

This is a family run elephant sanctuary, we had a really wonderful time here. The staff welcomed us with drinks and snacks, the sanctuary is well kept and the elephants there are genuinely happy and relaxed. We made rice balls for the elephants and feed them with bananas, watermelons and sugar canes. Then we helped to take bath for them and played with them in the water pond. My 6yo son had a great time here, and it’s also very memorable for adults. this house for elephants is a definitely a must come spot in visit, it’s very cozy and family friendly if you don’t like the commercial run ones!

The staff were extremely friendly, prioritized safety, and took many great photos with my phone while my family spent time with the elephants. We did various activities over six days in Thailand, but the elephant experience was by far the best. They provide clothing at the beginning, and after the experience, you can take a shower and towels are provided. At the end, they even gave us an elephant keychain as a gift. It is definitely an unforgettable and wonderful experience for families with young children.

An amazing experience! The atmosphere was relaxing, the elephants were gentle and adorable, and the staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English, and even some Chinese. It's worth experiencing with the whole family; we all loved making meals for the elephants, feeding them, giving them a shower, and having water fun—even better than pool fun! Highly recommend!

Most incredible experience! Booked the elephant encounter with trunk and soul as it looked super personal and had a great homie feel about it. The experience exceeded all expectations! On arrival, the team provided us with a super comfy set to get changed into. Definitely recommend wearing your bathers and sandles , and bringing spare clothes with you! We got to feed four of the girls, make them special diet snacks, play in mud with them, wash them and swim with them. Loved the small group experience, made the encounter even more special and involved. The staff made an incredible lunch for us and even taught us how to make these delicious flower shape chips. Can't speak more highly of the team Would do it again in a heart beat. Thank you Trunk and Soul!!

We have been to Thailand for the first time and this experience was not on our list. If was last minute plan because my wife wanted to see Elephants closely before going back and I found Trunk and Soul and instantly booked it. We truely enjoyed our time with all for Sisters🐘 of Ananda (because that’s what he calls them❤️). Ananda and his family were so kind we didn’t feel like going back honestly.
