Reviews
The tour guide John is friendly and professional. Told us a lot of historical stories about the attractions. In addition to going to memorial cemeteries, we also go to beaches and museums. There was also a stop on the way to taste apple cider and jam, which was also very good. The whole tour experience was very good, but maybe because there were many places to go, it felt a bit rushed, but overall I was very satisfied👍🏻 It also included a lunch, full bus transfer, and time to explore on your own👍🏻Recommended!
Sam was our guide & I could feel his passion as a tour guide. He explained & shared details of what happened during WW1&2 so that we can have more understanding about the places that we are visiting. Shasha was our driver & I thank him for the smooth journey. 3 course lunch was good as well. I definitely enjoyed my day.
Our Citywonder guide Sam is a very knowledgeable person! He knows everything about the war history from 18xx to 1945. He teaches us the whole trip about the things that happened in the war. Highly recommend this tour and the guide! People who love history should not miss this opportunity to experience yourself.
This is a great tour. It has been effectively delivered by Daniel, an experience guide from City Wonders. Daniel is informative and has high sense of humour. Unfortunately, we are being left in the museum far from everywhere and we need to catch up with taxi. it is also took a long time to reach out the City Wonders Admin. they need to fix the Call Center Admin
It was a very fulfilling day, but the itinerary was a bit rushed. It is suitable for those who want to visit the history of the World War II landing in one day and want to live in Paris. I ordered steamed cod with French fries for lunch, which tasted good. The tour guide Raymond was very dedicated and explained the whole process in detail. We will taste various alcohol content products at the local cider house. Children and non-alcoholic people can drink juice. Overall, I am very satisfied.
Although we arrived early, it was a bit difficult to find the meeting point based on the pre-trip instructions. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and had a deep understanding of Normandy's history and key figures. Our group consisted of over forty visitors from various countries, and the guide was attentive to everyone's individual needs. We gained a lot from the day's activities.
great trip and comfortable bus. The whole day schedule are very tight but not rushed. our guider Dr. Sam very nice and expert on World War II and D-Dayhistory.
The narrated tour of the Normandy landings was good. This time it was all about Americans going to the battlefield ruins to look for traces of their grandfathers and elders fighting on the front lines.
Despite the rain, this was an incredible experience. Thelma could not be more knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this outing.
start with the goods. the bus was comfy and the guides were knowledgeable. however, the itinerary was a bit odd. We had only 45mins at the Utah beach and museum plus getting the souvenirs - which was totally not enough at all!!! The lunch was average, but not bad. And they also a bit rushed through the bunker site. we left given quite a lot of time at the last stop at the memorial instead which was more than enough. underhand it’s hard to control the time but really wished we had more time at the first stop as there was a lot to see at the museum and we won’t be back anytime soon (or at all)…. they also had two drivers and two guides which feel a bit overkill as all the Klook tour I had joined only have 1 each - wished the tour can be cheaper with 1 guide 1 driver instead.
