Punta Tombo Penguins Reserve One-Day Tour

Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Puerto Madryn to Punta Tombo, the world’s largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins. This is a full-day excursion available from September to April, during the penguins’ breeding season. Upon arrival, explore the reserve along a designated 3 km walking trail.

After the wildlife experience, depending on the size of the group, the excursion continues with one of the following stops: Isla Escondida: a beach where you can observe southern elephant seals from a very short distance. Gaiman: a town where you can experience theWelsh tea service.

Entrance fees to the Punta Tombo Protected Natural Area and the Welsh tea service are NOT INCLUDED. Finally, make your way back to Puerto Madryn, arriving in the late afternoon.
