- Yabuli Skiing Fun ⛷️ As Asia’s largest international ski center, Yabuli Ski Tourism Resort is super suitable for beginners! Professional coaches will teach you hand-in-hand how to put on ski gear and master gliding postures. Even falling is super fun ☕, maxing out your sense of accomplishment and coziness!
- Authentic Northeast Iron Pot Stew to Warm the Stomach 🍲 A must-try after skiing is the Northeast-style iron pot stew! The large iron pot in the farmhouse bubbles away, with pork ribs, sauerkraut, and frozen tofu stewed until tender and flavorful. Cornbread stuck to the sides of the pot absorbs all the rich soup. The moment the lid is lifted, the aroma of meat hits you instantly, and one bite warms you to the core, banishing all the cold!
- Weather and Clothing
Winter temperatures range from -15°C to -30°C with frequent wind and snow. Check the forecast to avoid severe weather and watch out for slippery roads. Clothing: Three-layer system (breathable base layer + fleece / lightweight down jacket + windproof ski jacket), bring waterproof gloves, ear-flap hats, and ski goggles; shoes should be ski boots or anti-slip snow boots.
- Skiing Safety Choose well-fitting ski gear and check it. Beginners should practice only on beginner slopes. Follow skiing rules: do no chase, keep a distance of more than 5 meters from others, fall to the side, and tuck in your ski poles. Remember the rescue number; do not move if injured. Bring common medications. Since the indoor-outdoor temperature difference is large, you need to remove layers; change clothes after skiing to stay warm.

Reviews
Yabuli in autumn is like a color palette secretly kept by the Creator. The sky is a high and distant blue, and the forests are a vibrant red and gold. As the cable car slowly ascends, the entire multicolored mountain scenery unfolds beneath your feet. Without the hustle and bustle of winter skiers, there’s only the rustling of birch trees in the wind and the crisp sound of fallen leaves underfoot. Standing on the mountain peak, breathing in the crisp air, your heart opens up. At noon, savor hot Northeastern farmhouse dishes at the foot of the mountain, the sweet and sour taste of Guo Bao Rou wrapping you in the contentment of autumn. On this day, you've gained a feast of colorful sights and a heart full of tranquility. Yabuli's autumn is short but intense, worth treasuring in your memory. This tranquility and grandeur, far from the hustle and bustle, is definitely a great value choice for a short autumn trip 👍👍👍
Yabuli's autumn is absolutely stunning! The colorful mountains are like a flowing oil painting, and the fresh scent of grass and trees mixed with warmth washes away fatigue. The itinerary is relaxing and pleasant, and the autumn-only scenery is definitely worth the price!
Yabuli's autumn is just as stunning as its winter snow. It boasts nature's splendor and tranquility, coupled with the gentle embrace of hot springs and delicious food. Though a day is short, it's enough to deeply captivate you with this northern landscape. I never imagined Yabuli's autumn could be so moving; this day trip felt like stepping into a natural oil painting, every scene worth treasuring! The tour guide was also excellent, taking meticulous care of my partner and child. The temperature was a bit low, and my child felt a little unwell, but the guide checked on us constantly, making us feel very secure.
Plan to stay through winter, enjoying the scenery from autumn all the way through.
Good to know
- Beware of slipping. Roads in the Northeast during winter often have ice and snow, making the ground slippery. Leather shoes are easy to slip in, so it is best to wear anti-slip cotton snow shoes or sneakers. Remember not to wear leather shoes, otherwise movement will be inconvenient.
- Prepare cold-weather clothing. Winter temperatures in the Northeast generally range from 0°C to -20°C, and can reach below -30°C in some places. You should prepare a down jacket (preferably with a hood), high-neck thick woolen sweaters, woolen pants, down pants, gloves, etc. If heading north of the Qinling Mountains and Huai River line, you must wear high-tube snow cotton boots; wearing leather shoes will make you unbearably cold. You can purchase padded winter clothes (gloves, cotton hats, snow boots) based on your own situation to adapt to the climate in the Northeast. The outdoor temperature in the Northeast is around minus 20-30 degrees Celsius, so be sure to take cold-protection measures. The parts most prone to frostbite are the ears, hands, and feet. There is a large temperature difference between indoor and outdoor environments in the Northeast (warm indoors, cold outdoors), so pay attention to your clothing to prevent colds; during outdoor activities, do not touch metal objects such as door handles and ice cubes to prevent your skin from freezing to them and causing injury.
- Obey the guide's arrangements and participate in activities according to the group's planned route, otherwise it is easy to get lost in the mountains and forests and lose contact with the group (communication signals are relatively weak on the mountain). Do not engage in activities alone. If you have something to do, please notify the guide first, and you may leave the group only after the guide agrees; otherwise, you must bear the consequences yourself!!!
- Due to the cold weather, some electronic devices such as mobile phones and cameras may experience false battery levels or sudden shutdowns. Therefore, please have every family prepare a power bank and buy a few warm patches to stick on the back battery area of the mobile phone, which can also solve the shutdown problem.
- Prevent falling into snow pits. In the vast snowfields, most of the original paths are covered by snow. When road conditions are unclear, do not proceed rashly; you need to find a tree trunk to use as a staff to probe the depth before moving forward. If you unfortunately fall into a snow pit, you must never struggle, because the more you struggle, the deeper you sink. You should wait for rescue.
- Backup medicines. Winters are cold and prone to colds, so when traveling, you should prepare medicines for treating common colds such as Antelope Cold Tablets; northerners love cold dishes, and those not accustomed to them are prone to upset stomachs, so you need to prepare medicines such as berberine for anti-diarrhea purposes; the northern region is dry and causes thirst, so you need to prepare cooling herbal tea granules such as Xiangsangju or Wanglaoji.
- Prevent snow blindness. Winter in the Northeast is mostly snowy with accumulated snow, and the reflection of snow is quite large. You need to wear sunglasses when going out to protect your eyes.
- Other precautions. Thermos flasks, moisturizing cream, lip balm. Wilderness adventure travelers also need to prepare flashlights, down sleeping bags, and other outdoor equipment.
- Tourists must pay attention to their own personal safety and carry valuables with them!! Do not leave valuables behind in the hotel or tour bus! Please take good care of your personal belongings during the tour; if losses occur due to personal negligence, the travel agency will not assume liability for compensation.
- You must carry valid identity documents with you upon departure. If you fail to board a plane, take a train, check into a hotel, or tour scenic spots due to not carrying valid identity documents, tourists shall bear the responsibility themselves.
- Tourists must ensure they are in good health before participating in the tour itinerary arranged by the travel agency, and must not deceive or conceal anything. If any accidents occur due to the tourist's physical discomfort, the travel agency will not assume responsibility.
- The travel agency does not recommend tourists to participate in activities with uncertain personal safety. The travel agency will not assume responsibility for consequences arising from tourists taking unauthorized actions.
- If a tourist leaves the group voluntarily or changes the itinerary midway for personal reasons, it will be regarded as an automatic abandonment, and the travel agency cannot refund any fees. Any additional expenses and safety issues arising therefrom shall be borne by the tourist.
