We booked train tickets from Hanoi to Da Nang. This was our second-best option because the bus was fully booked on the date we wanted to travel. The train has a designated toilet, unlike the bus where you have to wait for the next bus stop. You also won’t go hungry on the train because they sell a lot of things. They serve lunch, dinner, and all sorts of snacks from time to time. You just need money so you won’t go hungry. I suggest improving their intercom for announcements in the arrival area at the next stop because it’s not very audible. It would be better if there were a screen monitor that flashes which part of the station you are in, which is especially helpful for tourists like me.
It's essentially a tourist train. The train is clean and hygienic, and the bedding is sterilized and bagged. The onboard catering primarily features baguettes.
