Blue Mountain Sunset & Stargazing tour with Featherdale Zoo

My mother and I, as non-Korean tourists, still had a perfect travel experience that completely exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Kelvin Sung, was very responsible and could communicate in English. He told interesting stories in the car, actively helped us take photos in the evening, and went above and beyond to find stars, so much so that our stargazing time even exceeded what we anticipated. We first went to Featherdale Wildlife Park at noon, where we had plenty of time to explore. This zoo was very interactive; I fed different types of kangaroos, sheep, and other animals, and even touched many cute small animals. Later, we headed to the Blue Mountains. Our guide, Kelvin, cleverly designed the route to help us avoid crowds. We first enjoyed delicious ice cream in a village, then arrived at a scenic cliff where only our group was present, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Next, we went to Echo Point, where we saw the beautiful Three Sisters peaks and the stunning sunset. Dinner time followed in a village with many food options, and Kelvin gave us many recommendations; the Vietnamese pho was excellent. Finally, the highlight of the day was stargazing. As soon as I got out of the car, I was awestruck by the sky full of stars. Our guide continuously introduced different constellations, explaining in detail what the different twinkling lights meant, which taught me a lot. He also actively helped us with photo composition. The luckiest part was that we even saw a meteor; it was the first time I had ever seen one in my life, and I was absolutely overjoyed. When the sky was blocked by clouds, he observed the sky and quickly drove to another location. After we arrived at the new spot, the stars reappeared. We lay on the ground looking at the sky, comfortably enjoying that wonderful moment, and also captured magnificent pictures of the Milky Way. The day's journey was very fulfilling and perfect, and the guide's itinerary planning was flawless. We were also very lucky. The guide was enthusiastic, always greeted us kindly, and was very knowledgeable, constantly sharing scientific facts in the car. He also drove very smoothly, and we didn't experience any dizziness. I only booked this Korean tour at 9 AM that morning, but it truly gave us a big surprise. Many thanks to our guide Kelvin and the travel agency; his itinerary was different from Chinese tour groups, but it gave us a very unique and perfect experience. (It was also great value for money.)

Even though it was a cloudy day, we were able to see a beautiful sunset and even stars from the spots our guide took us to! I'm sure the guide wanted to finish work quickly, but instead of seeing fewer stars, he even showed us the night view! Thank you so much! I went on the Blue Mountains Sunset Tour with guide Kelvin on August 18th! Even though it was rainy and difficult to see the stars, Guide Kelvin tried his very best until the end to show us the stars. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to see some beautiful stars peeking through the clouds for a brief moment, which made it an even more special memory. The explanations he gave during our travels were interesting and easy to understand, and his pleasant voice made it comfortable to listen. Especially when watching the sunset, instead of taking us to a crowded, typical observation deck, the guide took us to a quiet spot he personally selected, allowing us to leisurely enjoy the beautiful scenery all to ourselves. Despite the bad weather, thanks to Guide Kelvin, who did his best until the very end, it was a truly enjoyable and satisfying tour. I'd love to join again on a day with better weather. I highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a Blue Mountains tour!

At Featherdale Wildlife Park, you can feed quokkas and kangaroos, and even pet a wombat's behind! ♡ I got to see all the animals I wanted to see in Australia 🦘 The Blue Mountains are truly wonderful!! It made me realize once again how beautiful nature is 🥹🥹 You absolutely must do the stargazing experience… ⭐︎ It was the most memorable moment! They take beautiful photos for you, but since pictures can't capture it all, you really have to see it with your own eyes! It was even more enjoyable because we were with our kind and informative guide, Cha Kyung-seop!!

On August 14th, I participated in the wonderful Zigzag Tour. Our first stop was Featherdale Wildlife Park. It was a truly enjoyable experience to see and feed cute wallabies, kangaroos, and quokkas, which can only be found in Australia. Next, we saw the Three Sisters, and the natural scenery was absolutely magnificent. We also got to see a beautiful sunset at a hidden spot, which was lovely. Afterward, we had some delicious pizza in Katoomba. Finally, it was truly wonderful to see countless stars in the magnificent night sky. Thank you so much for helping me create such great memories in Sydney! Haha.

I highly recommend this tour to everyone. The sunset view is just breathtaking. The weather and timing is perfect. We were not able to look at the stars at first because it was too cloudy, but our tour guide Joon is very patient and professional. He did not give up and he drove us to a third location to enjoy stargazing. At last the sky cleared up and galaxy the milky way in the sky absolutely blew my mind! Thank you Joon!!! I’ll never forget this magical night!

Jin is a fantastic tour guide and driver! He is detail-oriented and friendly, and he helped us take great photos under the starry night sky. Even though we don't know Korean, he made sure to send us the gathering time for every spot.

At Featherdale, the koalas were half-asleep and half-awake, allowing us to fully appreciate their cuteness. The quokkas, unfortunately, were sound asleep. And then there was the Blue Mountains! We were worried because it started raining heavily just as we were about to arrive, but a few minutes after getting off the bus, the sky cleared up, and we were able to fully enjoy the Blue Mountains. Even the stargazing at the end... Is Guide Kim Tae-young a weather fairy? Haha. The photos you took for us were also incredibly touching. We're taking home wonderful memories with our child. I highly recommend Featherdale, the Blue Mountains, and the night stargazing with Guide Kim Tae-young!

Thanks Jayden for giving us such a wonderful tour. Originally, the expected weather is cloudy and rain which has high possibilities that the stargazing part would be cancelled. However, Jayden make a lot of effort in finding places that may not obscured by the cloud and take a lot of good pictures and videos of every participants. These tour is the best tour I have ever joined, with perfect planning and huge effort from Jayden. Moreover, Jayden is super professional in taking fascinating photos. Wednesday, July 28th, was the last day of my trip. I made wonderful memories with great people while riding in the 11-seater van provided by Zigzag Tour. At Featherdale Wildlife Park, I saw many koalas, kangaroos, quokkas, and plenty of other animals at my leisure. Our guide was a veteran and handled every situation perfectly, allowing us to happily enjoy stargazing under the moonlight at Wentworth Falls. Thanks to their fantastic night mode photography, I even have some great photos to show off. I look forward to seeing you again on my next trip.
