What to expect
On the vast and pristine land of Hokkaido, there is a dreamlike journey that belongs only to summer, taking you deep into Furano and Biei to enjoy the magnificent flower fields and the gifts of nature. Amidst the scenery of blue skies, flower fields, and rolling hills, experience the most charming summer charm of Hokkaido.
The journey begins with the fairytale-like Patchwork Road. Here, the hills undulate, and fields and crops of different colors are pieced together on the ground to form a huge patchwork scroll. The birch forest in the distance, the red-roofed farmhouses, and the vast sky complement each other, showing a peaceful and romantic scenery like a European pastoral, which is one of the most representative natural landscapes of Biei.
Then head to the dreamy Blue Pond. This mysterious pond contains natural minerals in the water, which presents a stunning blue color under the sunlight. It is known as one of the most magical natural landscapes in Hokkaido. Stumps stand on the tranquil water surface, reflected in the clear mirror-like pond water. With changes in weather and light, the pond water will show different levels of blue, like a sapphire inlaid in the forest.
Next, come to the colorful Shikisai-no-oka. This is one of the most popular flower fields in Biei. More than 30 kinds of flowers bloom in layers on the hills, forming a spectacular sea of flowers. Hidden in the blooming flower fields is also a heart-shaped flower field symbolizing romance, which is a popular spot for many travelers to take photos and check in. There is also a lovely alpaca ranch in the park, as well as a sightseeing tractor tour experience, allowing people to easily shuttle through the flower fields and feel the pastoral style of Hokkaido in summer.
At noon, come to Herb Garden, and enjoy a rich meal carefully prepared with local Hokkaido ingredients in the garden restaurant surrounded by flowers, herbs and fragrances. Here, you can not only taste fresh and delicious meals, but also experience Hokkaido's popular summer delicacy - unlimited sweet and juicy melon, and enjoy a pleasant lunch time in a leisurely garden atmosphere.
Finally, the journey comes to Farm Tomita, the most representative attraction in Furano. Every summer, large lavender fields spread like purple waves between the hills, and the air is filled with a faint floral fragrance, which is refreshing. Here, you can not only enjoy the magnificent lavender flower fields, but also taste Furano specialties such as lavender ice cream and melon desserts, allowing both visual and taste to immerse themselves in the summer romance of Hokkaido.
This flower field trip to Furano and Biei perfectly combines hills, lakes, flower fields and delicacies, allowing people to immerse themselves in the most gorgeous summer scenery of Hokkaido and leave unforgettable travel memories.

Reviews
The tour was worth it given the distance where we came from. The guide, Emma, was very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and warm yet professional all throughout. My only comment is, if fhe group is this large, one hour to sight see, shop, and most importantly, go to the toilet especially it is the tourist season and there were several buses in most of the places we went to.
May 10, 2026. Lucky day! The weather was perfect, with endless snow-capped mountains. We had just the right amount of time at each attraction, and a big thank you to our tour leader Vivi (Xiao Tang) for doing her best to accommodate the needs of every group member.
The tour guide's explanations were detailed and patient, and the driver's steady and comfortable driving made the entire trip very pleasant. If I have another chance, I will definitely book again.
The itinerary was full and well-organized, and our tour guide, Oscar, was very kind and provided thorough explanations of the attractions throughout the trip. The scenery in Furano and Biei was still captivating at the end of September! I would definitely join again if I have the chance!
Went on the day tour on 24/06/2026. The weather was perfect but a little too early as the flowers only 1/2 bloomed. Lisa our guide was very friendly, the itenary was good, I wished we could have another 10mins or so at the attentions, my lunch was cutting too close as the meals only came with 15mins left.
Tour guide Oscar was great and friendly. the whole trip was well organised and relax. no regret and money well spent. my family enjoyed very much. Good job Oscar for making the trip memorable and lasting joy.
The tour guide was very dedicated and entertaining. I'd love to join again next time and recommend it to my friends. Thank you!
The rear AC was intermittent, making it quite hot in the summer. But overall, the itinerary was fantastic, and the time allotted for each attraction was very reasonable. I highly recommend this trip!
My mom and uncle, both seniors, took on a 9-day independent trip to Hokkaido. My mom had always wanted to see the flower fields in Biei. They were originally planning to transfer trains themselves, but I found them a day tour that allowed them to see all kinds of flower fields to their heart's content. They went on 8/3/2025, the weather was fantastic, the tour guide's service was excellent, and they even recommended great food! They were very satisfied 👍
not too rush. time allocated was ok. guide was well versed too. I think it is value for money and the lunch was very good ! Will recommend this tour to my friends .
