Klook Private Guangdong Tour from China (Shenzhen/Guangzhou)

This is our third year using Klook to customize our trips, and every year has exceeded our expectations. This year, our Guangzhou tour guide, Xu Zhen, was incredibly thoughtful and communicative. After a full day at Chimelong Safari Park, she worried we might be hungry and bought us pastries. She also prepared delicious food for us when we were rushing to catch our train and didn't have time for breakfast. We will definitely use Klook again next year to plan our itinerary because it makes everything so hassle-free.

The customized itinerary was very flexible; every day, we woke up naturally and enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out. We only visited the attractions we wanted to see, spending more time at places we liked and quickly moving on from those we didn't. Our driver and guide in Guangzhou, Xu Zhen, was very talkative and chatted enthusiastically with my dad throughout the trip. In Chaozhou, our driver and guide, Xiao Liao, was excellent at finding delicious food, and we were all very satisfied with our meals. The food in Chaozhou is truly impeccable.

We had a fabulous day with our guide. He was so patient, kind, and helpful! I would absolutely book again next time we come back.

The driver was nice, but the cost of the private car service seemed a bit expensive at 2350 RMB for 10 hours, which is higher than the local market rate.

We had three different drivers over our 7-day trip. The first two were mostly fine, but the third driver really made our entire trip unpleasant. The car's air conditioning was very hot, and he took the wrong route, wasting our time waiting for him, which we didn't mind too much. However, on the day of our return, he suddenly claimed we had exceeded our time limit on the previous two days. But we had carefully calculated our 8-hour car rental each day, and on the last afternoon, we were so worried about going over time that we even told the driver not to wait for us and took a Didi back ourselves. He was clearly a dishonest driver. This was our first time renting a car with a driver, and we can only take it as a lesson learned. In the future, when we hire a driver, we'll make sure to clock in the time when they pick us up to avoid situations like this where we have no proof and are forced to pay overtime fees.

Thanks to the professional klook customizer, I had a very perfect travel holiday. The driver service was very good and knew a lot of food and attractions.
