As a consumer, I trust the truthfulness of the platform's written descriptions and place my order accordingly. In this instance of a failed purchase, some of the fault lies with my own failure to verify the information thoroughly. However, to take it a step further, what if I, as the consumer, don't understand English at all? 3. The 2-day London Pass I ordered could not be activated and used, resulting in a complete waste of money for two people over two days. The reasons are as follows: 3.1 When purchasing, the description stated that the pass included Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral. However, upon arrival, we discovered that these were not included. The local UK vendors recognized only the "London Pass," not the "London City Pass." It is common practice for platform businesses to partner with various entities on products, but I only clicked through to the third-party partner's official website after completing the purchase, and at that time, I had no reason to doubt the information. This is the first issue: the advertisement contains slightly misleading information. 3.2 When selecting the dates for the pass, a message popped up stating that the chosen date was not a pass activation date and that the pass was valid for one month prior to activation. Because I hadn't confirmed my activation schedule, I arbitrarily selected two dates in the future. However, upon arrival in London, the pass could not be activated because the selected dates had passed. After contacting the third-party vendor's customer service email, I received a response stating that the pass had expired and could not be used. This is the second issue: it should be specifically noted that the selected date is the activation date. I am providing these two suggestions for the business owner's reference to improve and promote the rights of consumers.
