The roaring waves stirred up by the South Pacific Ocean crash against the cliffs. Stretching along the southern coast of Victoria, Australia, is a 243-kilometer coastal road known as the Great Ocean Road, which is called as “the most spectacular coastal route in the world”. Setting out from Melbourne, we drove westward, experiencing the flirting sensation of traversing thousands of miles along the Great Ocean Road. We will explore at least 6 most famous attractions: Loch Ard Gorge- Razorback- 12 Apostles- Apollo Bay- Kennett River- Split Point Lighthouse.

The tour guide was very thoughtful and contacted us a day in advance to make appropriate arrangements based on our individual needs. Our group arrived earlier than other groups, so we didn't have to jostle with other tourists when visiting the attractions. The arrangements were excellent.

Had a wonderful weekday trip to the 12 Apostles! Choosing a weekday was the best decision as it was much less crowded. You can get to the 12 Apostles early in the morning to avoid the backlight. In the afternoon, you can visit Ocean Road Wildlife Park to interact and take photos with kangaroos and emus. It's a bit rushed for a full day, but very interesting.
