It tends to be expensive to buy new mountain climbing equipment, but renting is easy and affordable. This set is perfect for those who “don’t know what to prepare” or “want to try it out first!”

[Regarding Climbing Restrictions at the Mt. Fuji 5th Station Trailhead (Yoshida Route)] A gate will be set up at the entrance to the Yoshida Route 5th Station climbing trail, and the following traffic restrictions will be implemented, excluding those with accommodation reservations at mountain huts. *Please note that separate fees will apply.
◆Restriction Period: July 1st to September 10th ◆Restriction (Climbing Trail Entrance Gate Closure) Hours: 2:00 PM to 3:00 AM the following day *The gate will also be closed if the number of climbers exceeds 4,000 per day. Information regarding traffic restrictions will be disseminated on official SNS channels as needed. ◆Passage Fee (Usage Fee): A fee of ¥4,000 per person will be charged to those passing through the gate as a usage fee for the ascent and descent trails.
Reviews
The equipment is very good, but the 7-piece set does not include gloves and a hat. A full 10-piece set isn't necessarily needed. There will be many times you'll need to use your hands in the 7-8 section, and the summit is very cold at night, so please add gloves.
Rented all my Mt. Fuji climbing gear here and had a great experience. The equipments were clean and high quality, and everything were well-prepared for the conditions. Made the climb much more comfortable and safe. Highly recommend for anyone planning to summit!
