Shenzhen Nanyao Yijing

Went here for my wife's birthday. We did the dinner and show and hanfu clothing. We don't speak Mandarin and the staff were so helpful and understanding. The pre-show games were fun. The food was so good and so was the show (even though we did not understand the language). A highly recommended event to experience to get a taste of historical China.

location: pretty easy to find experience: 10 out of 10. We throughly enjoyed every moment of the experience. From the beginning upon registration you are whisked to an ancient time little square to play ancient times games. Using old currency to buy chances for games. Multiple sections and categories. Each time a game is cleared you get a stamp. Once all stamps are completed, you get a gift from the store as a keepsake. 20 mins before the performance you are taken to another hall where the set is beautifully designed and presented in away that's interactive. Storyline was easy to understand and visuals were exquisite. Suitable for elderly parents to enjoy as well. Sound system was not too loud and food presented was great! Definitely worth it.

Booking the Nanyao Yijing Palace Banquet in Shenzhen on Klook was very convenient. The restaurant's customer service was excellent. They contacted you in advance to remind you what time to arrive if you wanted to dress up. Before the meal, there were also some ancient costume street games to play. You can eat and play, which is highly recommended. The food was very exquisite and delicious, the singing and dancing performance was wonderful, and the service was also very good. I went to taste it with relatives who came back from abroad that day, and they liked it very much. I highly recommend everyone to go and have fun and eat, it's very happy.

Being a tourist from New York , I really enjoyed the show with great dance & stage performance . Food is great & taste good . Will recommend others to come ! I also tried make up /hairdo/costume package - it’s definitely a fun experience . costume is cleaned & sterilized after each wear .

Service is good, well planned activities ahead of dinner, just try once if you want to enjoy some unique experience. We went to the venue too early so it is alright to go later if you do not plan to join the activities. At least they change our request to chicken when we informed them during the booking that we do not take beef.

it was a good experience but the food was alright .. will rate the food 3star but the atmosphere and set up was great! staff is friendly and fun too! there’s games to play before u start ur dinner. overall is the experience that you’re paying for .

If you arrive from Shuiwan metro station, take exit D. It leads you directly to the center through a long underground corridor, and you emerge at the ground floor of the building. The performance hall is located on the third floor. ✌ I have reservations about this banquet. First, it operates on a first-come, first-served basis 🥴. If you choose the full package with costumes and makeup, you need to arrive two hours before the start, as there are only three makeup artists. With 10 to 15 minutes per person, if five people are ahead of you, that means an hour of waiting. During that time, it is impossible to take Instagram photos or enjoy the small games planned before the meal 😥. As for the banquet itself, the food disappointed me. When looking at my photos, you can see that the portions are small and sparsely filled. Moreover, there is only pork or fish, nothing resembling refined cuisine 😥. Regarding the show itself, it is very well designed and performed by professional actors. One could almost feel like watching an TVB series. Unfortunately, everything is in Mandarin. If you do not understand Mandarin, you comprehend nothing, as there are neither Cantonese nor English translations on display boards 😥. On the other hand, the staff is genuinely kind and helpful. Fortunately, many of them speak Cantonese or English. The atmosphere is quite immersive thanks to the decor and the show, but the price felt a bit high for the quality of the food offered.

Awesome experience for dining like emperor back to ancient China. Once in a life time and worth for it
