I had one day left on my business trip to Chongqing, so I booked this Dazu Rock Carvings bus tour. The weather on April 26th was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. The Baoding Mountain carvings were incredibly impressive, and the Thousand-Hand Guanyin is exquisite after its restoration. Beishan was quiet with fewer people, allowing for a leisurely visit. Although the bus tour had a lot of participants, the guide was professional, and there was no forced shopping. We saw everything worth seeing on the day trip, and overall, it was quite good and worth recommending.

First time visiting the Dazu Rock Carvings, and this day trip didn't disappoint! The Thousand-Hand Guanyin at Baodingshan Rock Carvings is spectacular, and the Buddha statues at Beishan Rock Carvings are diverse in shape. The tour guide's explanation was super detailed, and they also pointed out many details for us. The whole itinerary was arranged very reasonably, and the round-trip transportation was also very convenient. Highly recommend!

A day trip to Dazu Rock Carvings is really worth it! The Beishan Rock Carvings and Baodingshan Rock Carvings are incredibly impressive, the Buddha statues are vividly carved with great attention to detail. The whole trip wasn't rushed, there was enough time to slowly appreciate and take photos, highly recommended!

Compared with the itinerary in the text, there is a special car to pick up at the hotel, so there is no need to go to Jiefangbei to gather by yourself, which is great. The stone carvings in the scenic area are breathtaking, and the ancients had superb craftsmanship. Thousand-armed Guanyin and the reappearance of the Black Myth Monkey King are definitely not to be missed in this Chongqing itinerary, it is wonderful.

The Dazu Rock Carvings day trip is really worth it! The drive from downtown Chongqing is about 1.5 hours, and the scenery along the way is very beautiful. Upon arriving at the scenic area, I was instantly amazed by the exquisite carvings. The statues at Baodingshan Rock Carvings are lifelike and rich in themes, including Buddhist stories, Taoist figures, folk legends, etc. Each statue is carved very delicately, with attention to detail, which makes you admire the wisdom and skill of the ancient craftsmen. The tour guide's explanation is very professional, and they will give us a detailed introduction to the historical background, cultural connotation, and carving techniques of each statue, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of the carvings. The entire itinerary is reasonably arranged, with enough time to take photos and check in. The transportation within the scenic area is also very convenient. The sightseeing bus is hop-on and hop-off, so you don't have to walk too much. The time to return to downtown Chongqing in the evening is also very appropriate. There is no forced consumption, and the price/performance ratio is very high. I recommend it to all friends who like history and culture!

The cliff carvings on Baoding Mountain were magnificent, and the Thousand-Hand Guanyin was especially breathtaking. The weather was great at the end of April. My friend and I were captivated by the Reclining Buddha and the Hell Transformation carvings at Baoding Mountain; the guide's explanations were very engaging. There aren't many steps at Beishan, but it's still better to wear light clothing. This trip is all about seeing the stone carvings, and experiencing them in person is truly spectacular, especially with the lighting, which makes it feel quite sacred. The full-day tour wasn't too strenuous either; we were back in the city by around 6 PM, not tired at all, and it was a really good experience.
