Best of Ninh Binh Day Tour: Hoa Lu, Trang An, Tam Coc, Hang Mua

Our trip to Ninh Binh was a wonderful experience! A special mention to our tour guide, Alex, who was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the trip. He explained everything clearly, made sure we were comfortable, and was always happy to help whenever we needed anything. Our driver was also very good and drove safely and comfortably throughout the journey. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable trip, and Alex definitely made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Alex as your guide! 😊

I had a good time with the tour… I enjoyed each site, our lunch was overloaded, a lot of food and they really tool care of us… our tourguide Ken/Ngoc was very knowledgeable and was always patient and gave us a lot of time to take pictures and enjoy the place. Maybe just a little recommendation, the van should smell good, coz when I rode in the morning, the Van smelled like sweat from people maybe from the other day and also maybe during the day, spray car freshener coz some guys in the tour smelled not so good already, maybe because of sweating from walking… Anyway… overall tour was awesome and I was satisfied

Booked this August 2026 with intermittent rains. The guide (Mia) was thoughtful and helpful. It was FRIDAY so our pick up point was near the old quarter not at the opera house. Guide speaks english sufficiently well. Itinerary is as is reported in the Klook booking. Buffet lunch is great. Locations and sites are beaitiful and fun. Bus was sufficiently sized. I would recommend this trip to everyone! If you visit Hanoi, try this day trip to Ninh Binh. Suggestions: 1. forward other passengers to Trang An after lunch if they will not ride a bicycle. so they can explore the souvenir place. 2. If the weather is unfavorable, it would also help to go with Mua Cave hike first ( no sunset orange glow anyway), so people will have more energy. 3. use brightly colored or uniquely patterned umbrella for guide so we can spot her easily. 4. teach how locals eat their food.

It was a very humid day, but we still had a great time. My favorite part of the trip was definitely Tràng An. I know some people didn’t really enjoy paddling the boat, but I personally found it relaxing, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The views were worth it! Our tour guide, Henry, also did a great job. He was friendly, organized, and explained the history behind each tourist spot, which made the tour much more interesting. Overall, I think this tour is worth booking, especially if it’s your first time visiting Ninh Bình. Everything was well organized, and we got to see a lot in one day. Would I do the exact same tour again? Probably not—but only because I think it’s one of those experiences that’s best enjoyed once. I’m really glad I got to experience it.

Mr. Henry, our tour guide on July 27, 2026, was excellent - very informative, punctual, and always made sure to double-check that everyone in our bus group was accounted for at every stop and transfer. The experience itself was incredibly enjoyable (and tiring 😆), but it was absolutely worth it. I’m so glad we had such a seamless experience exploring Ninh Binh with this tour agency. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience! The trip is very well thought out, organized, and worth it. It takes about 2 hrs going there and another 2 hours going back, so we realistically spent about 6hrs in Ninh Binh overall but still got to experience so much. It was a right mix of being able to visit many places and being given enough rest and time to enjoy the places in between, without being overwhelmed. Our tour guide, Tiger, shared a lot of interesting facts and accommodated us well.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Everything was very well organized, efficient, and ran smoothly from start to finish. Our tour guide, Martin, was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was informed, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the day. The 22-seat bus was modern, clean, and very comfortable, making the journey enjoyable. The lunch buffet was clean, offered a great variety of dishes, and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. The highlight of the tour for our family was definitely the Tam Coc boat ride. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful ride through the river and limestone mountains was incredibly relaxing and memorable. We also enjoyed visiting Hoa Lu and Hang Mua, which provided a great combination of history, culture, and stunning views. Overall, this was an excellent tour and a fantastic way to experience the beauty of Ninh Binh. We highly recommend Martin and this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi!

Great experience with Oliver on this amazing trip . Etched in my heart forever . There were many activities lined up, from cycling to an amazing buffet, to the boat ride. Everything was very well organized. There were three locations, and it was great. I especially loved the cycling; it was unique.

We loved this trip to Ninh Binh, and Loi was such an amazing tour guide. he was so funny and enthusiastic, and made the tour even more fun. we enjoyed the cycling through the rural lakes and islands, and the boat trip through the caves. walking up the mountain was extremely hot and tiring, but we still made it to the top. I would recommend anyone do this tour, our family loved getting out of the city to a more rural area and experiencing the lakes and caves.

The day was incredible. I had Thanh as my guide, and he was exceptional from start to finish. I was picked up at 7:25 AM at the Hanoi Opera House since I wasn't staying in the Old Quarter. On the way back at 7:00 PM, they dropped me off one street away from my accommodation because there was a heavy downpour. I highly recommend this excursion!
