Vatican and Colosseum day tour from Rome

I felt the overall itinerary was enriching, and the tour guide was very dedicated and provided detailed explanations. However, we had to arrange our own transportation to the attractions. On the day of my tour, there was a delay with the Vatican itinerary in the morning, which forced us to skip lunch and rush to the Colosseum by taxi. It was incredibly rushed and stressful! Fortunately, everything worked out in the end, but we didn't have time to eat lunch. I'd suggest booking two separate half-day tours for more flexibility.

I am so glad I joined the Chinese guided tours of the Vatican and the Colosseum. And, of all the luck, we were fortunate enough to have Ms. Yang Yingying as our guide. Ms. Yang is truly the best tour guide I have ever encountered. She is incredibly knowledgeable and well-versed in history and culture. Her preparation and knowledge of both the Vatican and the Colosseum were truly impressive. She was able to answer every question from our group. What impressed me was her patience and thoughtfulness. She took us to see Raphael’s Rooms, which many other tour groups simply skipped. At many of the museums’ and Vatican’s treasures, she explained what made each piece so remarkable. Her explanation of the Colosseum was also fascinating. She took us on a journey through more than two thousand years of Roman history—from ancient Rome and the time of Julius Caesar and Constantine, all the way to the fall of the Roman Empire. Listening to her, I truly felt as if I were traveling through time.

There was a discrepancy in the meeting time on the itinerary for both the Japanese and English versions. Instead of the actual meeting time, the itinerary displayed the elapsed time since the meeting. Based on my calculations, the afternoon meeting time should have been 12:30 PM, but it was actually 1:30 PM. I was troubled when I couldn't meet the guide at 12:30 PM, but I contacted the emergency number via WhatsApp, and they promptly assisted me, which was very helpful. Please change the itinerary to display the "time" instead of the elapsed time.
