What to expect
🌿Enter the embrace of the ancient capital in the early morning and leisurely start a slow day trip to Nara and Arashiyama ✨.
- Nara Park (Free deer crackers 1 serving/group; 2 servings/group for 4~6 people, no refunds if sold out~) is a place to dance with deer 🦌. Stroll along the path, and in front of you are leisurely deer, who will curiously approach the deer crackers in your hand, which are very cute.
- Then go to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine ⛩️ and walk into the world-famous Senbon Torii. Walking through the red tunnel is like traveling through time and communicating with the gods. Cute white fox-shaped ema are everywhere. You can doodle with creativity and pray for yourself and your family 💌.
- Arrive at Arashiyama in the afternoon 🌸🍁. The tranquility of the bamboo forest path makes people slow down their breathing. The wind blows the bamboo leaves, like the light music of nature. The garden of Tenryu-ji Temple blends the beauty of the four seasons with the surrounding ancient temples. Cherry blossoms in spring, red leaves in autumn, and flower lantern festivals in winter each have their own unique charm. The Sagano Scenic Railway 🚂 travels slowly along the mountain fields, which is a great way to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. The foot bath hot spring in Arashiyama Station is paired with a dessert to take a break, instantly dispelling travel fatigue. The colorful columns of Yuzen Light Forest 🌈 allow you to appreciate exquisite kimono patterns during the day, as if you have entered a dream forest.
* From the Nara deer singing to the Fushimi red torii, to the Arashiyama bamboo shadows, every step is like flipping through a Japanese picture album 📖, where nature, humanities and life are perfectly intertwined. At the end of the day, the heart also stretches gently with the wind, leaving with full of memories and smiles.

We had an amazing time feeding the friendly deer at Nara Park, followed by a serene visit to the temple (separate ticket required). The walk through the Bamboo Forest in Arashiyama was especially relaxing thanks to the cool weather. Our tour guide, Joanna, was exceptional—she shared detailed historical insights and made the experience truly enriching. After the Bamboo Forest tour, we were given free time to explore on our own. Unfortunately, I misread our Sagano train return ticket and missed the scheduled bus back. Despite the strict timing, Joanna kindly stayed behind, watched over our luggage, and even helped us get tickets to Kyoto Station. Her support meant the world to us. Thank you, Joanna—we deeply appreciate your help!
great tour. easy to book. tour operator gogoday sent helpful email prior to tour day with exact instructions on meeting place. guide Joan explained fully in English and Korean. Very comfortable bus. highly recommended.
great full day our guide Frederick was very nice and informative kept the bus on time to each venue, we would have liked more time at the Tori gates we had 80 minutes but as it was very busy we didn’t have enough time to explore the shopping. loved feeding the deers a very enjoyable and unique experience.
our guide made our day .. Frederick… very informative and helpful, reassuring all the way confirming details pick up and timings for each stops. and such a happy sole
Our tour guide, Bo, was very accommodating with our queries and needs. He was very clear with all of his instructions. We really had a great time with this tour. Highly recommended!! 🥰♥️
This time, I joined a one-day tour and saw the beautiful Kiyomizu-dera Temple and fed the slightly scary deer, as well as the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which was full of people. Most importantly, I went to Arashiyama, which I've always wanted to visit. I was really happy, not tired or foot-sore. Thank you to our guide, Jack, for this trip. Since we were grouped with a Korean tour, he made sure we were keeping up and also sent us maps for reference. If you go to Kyoto, you can check it out.
we enjoyed the tour spots... each spot had tasty food to offer so you wouldn't get hungry. love the street food before the Fishimi Inara Shrine. we also enjoyed the oishi ramen and soba at Arishayama
