After exchanging at the visitor center, you can get an unlimited day ticket and a Bodo card. Unfortunately, although the Bodo card has an official website, the information is not very clear (for example, some museums/attractions are free for card holders, while some can only get ticket discounts, but the official website does not clearly indicate which ones they are. You have to go to the ticket office of each museum/attraction in person to ask...)
Convenient and fast, with broad coverage, it includes discounts for almost all modes of transportation and major attractions. If you plan to use transportation more than three times, definitely choose a day pass.
The CP value is low, so I don't recommend buying it. Many attractions in Porto require additional fees, and trams also have additional costs. I recommend using a credit card.
Transportation cards and discount cards are separate. Exchange them at the tourist information center for use.
The map I got locally was hard to understand, and it took me a while to reach my destination 🥲. But even getting lost, walking around Porto is fun!😆 When I finally got to the Belém Tower ‼️ Guess what ‼️ It was under renovation, and I couldn't go inside. That was a huge disappointment 💦
The attractions are close to the station and within walking distance. Importantly, the museums included with this card aren't listed. You still need to buy tickets to enter most attractions. This card only offers some discounts, but they aren't significant, as the entrance fees are not expensive. I wouldn't recommend buying it.
If you live in a tourist area, you don't actually need to buy it. The attractions are very close, and the cable car and elevator are only 10% off. It doesn't seem to be very useful.
