I revisited Rome after about 20 years, specifically to visit these catacombs. As a person of faith, I felt it was a place I needed to see at least once. It was a place that made me reflect on many things. Making a reservation in advance made the visit much more convenient.
The tour was less than an hour, it was ok, not that great but not that either, the place was little out of other main touristy spot. The ground was amazing though, if you have time to explore, you should, it was quiet and less people checking out
