Jimmy our guide was really friendly and make us feel comfortable throughout the whole trip. There was so much food to eat and wines! We went 3 wine valleys and got to see kangaroos!! Sydney Fish market was amazing too. Understand that it's closing down and they be moving to the new out just beside the Fish market on 19 Jan 26. I'm glad I had a chance to see it before it closes down. Jimmy also cooked delicious breakfast and lunch for us, so much so that I had food coma! haha
we recently had our first wine and food tour, and it was nothing short of amazing! Our guide, Chef Jimmy, made the experience both fun and educational with his deep knowledge of food and wine. The wine and food pairings were excellent, bringing out the best flavors in every dish. The tour included visits to three stunning vineyards, each offering a unique selection of wines, plus a delightful chocolate tasting stop. Another highlight was the sushi-making class, where we got hands-on experience crafting sushi, at the Sydney Fish Market—an absolute paradise for seafood lovers. The combination of wine, gourmet food, and hands-on experiences made this tour truly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable adventure!
Highly recommended to participate! Even a 65-year-old man likes it very much! You can drink 16 kinds of wines during the whole trip, including many classic ones ■ Those who are strict vegetarians (no onions or garlic) are recommended to contact Jimmy before the trip - Australian vegetarians only do not eat meat, so you can eat everything else Sauces must be confirmed in advance - my parents-in-law, who are vegetarians, still praise the food cooked by Jimmy as very delicious ■ Full English itinerary - the tour guide Jimmy will speak slowly and correctly with correct pronunciation, but the wine cellar introduction staff has a strong accent Let’s talk quickly. It is recommended that someone in the group have an average level of English listening to help translate. It is a good itinerary to practice listening - since the whole group comes from various countries, they have a certain level of English and will be able to communicate better ■ The itinerary is very authentic and you can experience it for sure Local life - the wine cellar is very unique, not a tourist wine cellar - the food cooked is also very delicious - the whole trip will make people feel very relaxed and comfortable
Salute to Chef Jimmy. We had an enjoyable day with Jimmy in the Hunter Valley region from the beginning to the end. He is an outstanding host giving us lots of great experience about the food, wine and the city. The food prepared and served by Jimmy was fabulous. All you have to do is to appreciate your wine hour with delicious food in relaxing atmosphere. This top of the class small group day trip is no doubt the best part of my vacation. Heartfelt thanks to Jimmy’s dedication and enthusiasm. 200% recommended for those going to Sydney for a spectacular food and wine tour.
One of the most amazing wine tour experiences we’ve ever had, Jimmy is personable, great at his craft (cooking and tourguiding) and knowledgeable , visiting boutique wineries gave us a more personalised experience and more knowledge on wine were imparted, Jimmy has a close relationship with the wineries and going on his tour meant VIP treatment from the wineries.
Jimmy plays three roles, the driver + tour guide + chef on this trip. Although he has to leave very early, Jimmy will prepare breakfast and lunch for the whole day for the group members. He is very attentive and will explain to the group members some knowledge about food and answer their questions about Australian culture. The food he cooks is also Very delicious. We visited 3 wineries, and each winery had about 6 glasses of wine for tasting. There was no pressure to make a purchase, so it was a very worthwhile group to join!
Jimmy is amazing! It’s an itinerary worth booking. First of all, the itinerary is very rich, including a fish market, picnics and sushi in a lakeside town, and three wineries. It’s very rich! And Jimmy’s cooking is really good. It’s the first time that oysters are delicious when eaten raw. After adding sparkling wine, the flavor is amazing! ~The people in the same group are also very good, because most of the trip was spent drinking, chatting and eating delicious food together, so we naturally became close. It was a pleasant day eating, drinking and chatting~ Recommended for wine and cheese lovers Everyone interested in good food
Jimmy was a great cook and a wonderful guide. I can experience valuable time with beautiful scenery and tasty wines. I hope everyone can have a good memory with Jimmy.
Jimmy is the chef, tour guide & driver. He really power. Most fun is the sushi rolling class. The wine testing & pair with food, is very good. My husband miss Jimmy's cooking.
It is an activity that I would definitely like to participate in again, and I will also recommend it to all my friends. I appreciate it very much! Minibuses will be used to pick everyone up at designated locations one after another. There are tourists from various countries - Fish Market: Several special fish species and oysters will be introduced, and they will relax for 10 minutes to buy coffee and toilets - Breakfast: Drive to the cooking area on the hill . The breakfast is very rich (cakes, pies, fruits, etc.), and everyone is taught how to make sushi rolls - three wine cellars: two on-site wine cellars, and one of the same system. But the feeling is quite comfortable. The wines are introduced very seriously. There is no feeling of being forced, and there is no tourist itinerary. It is very comfortable. Jimmy is the tour guide, chef and driver, but his food is really delicious. The scenery will also be introduced during the driving process
