Reviews
I feel it is a way to experience Japanese culture by wearing a kimono. The costume made me walk more ladylike and the costume is really pretty. The kimono is made of silk and feel very smooth and comfortable when wearing it. With the backdrop at Otaru Canal, it sure will make a nice picture for you to keep and remember.
This was our first experience wearing kimono, and it turned out to be a truly memorable one for my wife and daughter. From the moment we arrived, the crew provided excellent and attentive service, patiently helping with kimono fitting and making careful adjustments to ensure everything was comfortable and well-presented. The quality of the kimono exceeded our expectations. We were initially worried about the cold wintry weather outside, but the kimono provided surprisingly good warmth, allowing us to enjoy our time in Otaru without feeling uncomfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful cultural experience made even better by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Highly recommended for families who want to try wearing kimono and create special memories in Otaru.
It was very cold for us and we weren't really prepared for it. There's a lot of choices to pick and the lady was very friendly although communication is a bit tough without translation. There isn't too much nice spot to take picture (the canal is too far of a walk in the cold weather) but with snow and kimono pictures still looked great.
friendly and excellent service. highly recommended.
Experience Japanese traditional clothing and become the center of attention as you stroll through the streets of Otaru! The owner is a master of dressing you up!
The staff were very attentive, the venue was clean, and there were many options to choose from!
quick and easy to get to the shop. variety options. Lady was friendly and helpful to tidy up my gal hair.
The owner was very friendly and dressed us quickly, but could offer more choices for headdresses. The path to the canal was slippery, so I recommend adding ice grips to your shoes.
The kimonos weren't very diverse~ㅠㅠ But it was okay because I still wore a pretty one. However, I made a reservation and paid through Klook (119,556 won), but later I found out they charged me around 80,000 won~ㅠㅠ (I was disappointed.)
