The stairs have a turn at the beginning, so it's not easy to carry a 24-inch, 13-kilogram suitcase, but it's manageable. The basement is very primitive, with only simple cardboard laid out. When I brought the suitcase up later, the cardboard was wet, so people who are storing backpacks or luggage bags should consider this, or prepare plastic bags to wrap them up for isolation. The staff I encountered were all very nice, and the location is quite close to the Musée d'Orsay station on the RER C line.
