3-Day Chengdu Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Exploration Tour (High-Speed Rail Round Trip)

This started off with pickup from Huanglongjia Railway Station. The weather was slightly cloudy and cold. Unfortunately the water in Huanglong freezed into ice so it’s was a bit disappointing. The next we visit Juizhaiguo Valley Scenic Park and save some very beautiful 🤩 ponds which reflect the beauty of Juizhaiguo. In totality this itinerary is very meaningful to us as nature lovers.

Overall a very well planned 3d2n trip, very organised and not rushed at all. The view at Huang Long and Jiu Zhai Gou were amazing, you must see once in a lifetime. Hotpot at local Tibetan house was an unique experience. Our guide 阿杰 was very thoughtful to arrange separate transport for us as my parents legs are not the strongest and we were staying opposite direction with the rest of the group. Also big thank you to 牦牛, our driver for driving us safely throughout the trip. Tip to those bringing elderly, if their legs are not good, consider bringing a walking stick.

Our guide 啊旺 (5☆) was helpful, responsive and knowledgeable about Tibetian culture. We were well taken care of throughout the trip, being the only 2 foreigner on the bus. The food was abit spicier to our liking but generally palatable. 黄龙 and 九寨沟 was the highlight, would be better if the weather was sunny. Overall, it was a beautiful hectic tiring 3d2n trip!

I just finished this trip and I’m honestly very satisfied with the whole experience 🧡 The tour was well-organized with a reasonable schedule, so everything felt comfortable and not rushed at all. What impressed me the most was our tour guide — Xiaoyu, she’s incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to support everyone throughout the journey. Not only did they guide us to beautiful attractions, but they also kindly shared many great recommendations for food and places to explore after the trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable and complete. Overall, I felt very relaxed, well taken care of, and had a really great time from start to finish. I will definitely join more trips in the future. Highly recommend! ✨

The local tour operator provides contact information in advance and sends detailed meeting information the day before, which is clear and easy to understand. They are also very quick to respond to any questions. Our tour guide, Ahao, was very patient, providing information about the scenic spots in the vehicle, making it easy to explore with a map. However, because it was the off-season, some walking paths were closed, so we had to adapt to the situation on the ground. The Tibetan Mystery Show was inexpensive and the performance was excellent, making it worth attending. Group meals are served family-style, and many group members don't have the concept of using serving chopsticks or spoons. It is recommended to proactively ask everyone to cooperate before eating, otherwise everyone's chopsticks will be stirring in the hot pot. Also, there are many Chinese group members, and there is a high probability that they will forcibly instill unified ideology during meals, so be prepared.

Quite an expensive tour as a lot of expenses are NOT covered. This package covers only the hotel stay,transport and return train tickets. Self pay for entrance tickets, cable car, shuttle bus, meals (covered meals cmi) and JZG VIP bus at 210/pax. I would recommend forget abt the JZG regular bus which is included cos you need to long queue under the scorching sun, may not get a seat and not enough time to cover all the spots. 4⭐️hotel is clean and neat, no need to upgrade as recommended. Bring cold wear if you don’t want to buy overpriced jackets at tourist trap stop, as it’s chilly!😆Do pay and watch the performance show, it’s worth it👍🏻

Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou have incredibly stunning scenery! Taking the high-speed train from Chengdu to Huanglong Station saves a lot of time compared to taking the bus, and it's not tiring. The Jiuzhai Eternal Love show is optional, but don't miss it if you can. The way the stories are presented is amazing and full of surprises. I was very lucky to have great group members and a wonderful guide, Wang Fei, who provided detailed explanations for the entire trip, including free time, and sent them methodically on WeChat. He also took care of each group member along the way. In conclusion, this is a very worthwhile trip.

I am super lucky to have 阿旺 as the tour guide. He takes good care of the members in the group, he is sincere and helpful. There were few of the members not well during trip and vomitted, he offer his medicine and help them by moving them to front seats of the bus and take care them. I like the culture of 东藏， also like the give back concept by the villagers. They appreciated what is given to them, they pay back whether with country subsidy or not, they serve with professionalism.

小朱哥 was our driver and he was very experienced. Smooth driving and very clear with instructions. The itinerary overall had no shopping as promised - rly appreciated that! Cost is mainly paying for the driver, the hotel stay with bfast and the entrance tickets to both 黄龙 and 九寨沟 parks. Went in December, beautiful beautiful scenery!
