What to expect
Your pilots and crew will be on hand to welcome you when you arrive, enjoy a tea or coffee as you sign-in. Your Hunter Valley ballooning adventure will then begin with a short drive to your launch site. It only takes around 20-25 minutes for your balloon to be inflated, and you can grab insta-worthy shots of the balloon during this time.
As the sun rises you will ascend into the sky in your colourful balloon. Your balloon will float gently along the breeze and in your basket you will feel completely secure with virtually no sensation of movement. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture views from a perspective like no other!
After landing, head back to Peterson House where the excitement of the morning continues over a gourmet champagne breakfast overlooking the vines.

A must try activity! It’s a unique experience even you have tried this activity somewhere else. The Captain and all the crew members were extremely friendly! Around 45 minutes we were on the sky witnessing the beauty of Hunter Valley. The sun rise was beautiful. Pictures and Videos were shared by them at the end of the activity. Champagne, Juices and breakfast were provided after the Hot Air Balloon Activity.
You have to get up very early in the morning and arrive at the designated place around 4:30. Then you will arrive at the base of the hot air balloon which is about 15 minutes away, and then the whole thing will fly up to an altitude of 5,000 feet, which is higher than the clouds. High, and then enjoy the sunrise. After my trip is completed, I still have a rich breakfast to eat, which is quite good.

Very good. If you are traveling at the end of October, remember to wear thicker clothes. The weather in the morning is really very cold.
Memorable activity to do as a family! Highly recommended to try the hot balloon activity, the view was fantastic and it was easy to coordinate with the hot air balloon company on the location and timing to gather.
Great hot air balloon exp! But was a tad bit far from Sydney and needed to wake up very early (130am left, 2 hours drive and require to reach at 4am). Will suggest to stay overnight nearby for drivers who are not confident to drive in the dark. Pilot was experienced and had an exciting bumpy landing as the landing space is smaller and wind was picking up. Will reccomend Balloon Aloof 👍🏼
Amaaazzzziiinnnngggg Experience. We all gathered at Peterson’s House and flight took Somewhere 6 in the morning. Clay was our expert pilot and he knew everything about it from flying to see the location from the sky. Peaceful yet thrilling experience. A lifetime journey to remember. Above all, the breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommended.
our pilot bryon hall did a fantastic job navigating the balloon as well as entertain us during our flight. his ground crew including bus driver and Joshua also was very friendly and helpful.
