The Whirling Dervishes performance is a unique Turkish experience that's definitely worth seeing. Arriving about 10 minutes before the show starts is usually sufficient. Outside the venue, there's historical information available, which can help you better understand and appreciate the ceremony as it unfolds.

Very much appreciated the spiritual Whirling Dervishes performace. It's is a great experience to see the original performance in the Hodjapasha Performance Centre.

It was a great experience. I expected it to be louder and more upbeat, but I didn’t really do any research beforehand. It was very peaceful and calm. The music was very calm and soothing and the dancers danced very gracefully. They were also explaining a few scriptures from the Quran and the men prayed. The walls had scriptures on it with every act, but it wasn’t easy to read from some seats. It was a beautiful experience, but not exactly what I expected. Heads up: You aren’t allowed to take pictures or videos.
