Maozi Peak Tourist Scenic Area

Guangdong Maozifeng Tourist Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Nanxiong City, Shaoguan, the main ginkgo producing area and "Hometown of Ginkgo in China" in Guangdong. Maozifeng covers a total area of 2924.6 hectares, and the planned area of the scenic spot is about 9.74 square kilometers. The scenic area largely retains its original forest landscape, with rich ecological resources, beautiful mountains and rivers, and pleasant scenery with birds singing and flowers blooming all year round. It has been successively rated as a "China Forest Oxygen Bar" and a "Guangdong Forest Health and Wellness Base." In late autumn, tens of thousands of acres of ginkgo trees in the scenic area turn golden, painting the forests in vibrant colors, attracting numerous tourists and photography enthusiasts. It is known as the "Kingdom of Ginkgo" and "Little Jiuzhai of Northern Guangdong."

The scenic area takes creative forest farm life as its core, with five major tourism product systems as its main theme: "Forest Farm Ingenuity," "Forest Farm Delicacies," "Forest Farm Elves," "Forest Farm Scenery," and "Forest Farm Life." It designs project formats to meet the scenic area's development direction of "grand sightseeing, small leisure, and micro-vacation," making it a comprehensive tourist resort integrating leisure sightseeing, forest health and wellness, popular science research, red education, and a self-driving tour reception base.
