Aveiro Half-Day Tour from Porto with Moliceiro River Cruise

Although there was no beautiful sunshine that day, the overall experience was good. The pick-up was on time, Aveiro was beautiful, and the tour guide's explanation of the cruise was very interesting. The tour guide's English was not too difficult, and the body movements were interesting and easy to understand. After the cruise, there is still some time to take a walk in the local area, take photos, buy souvenirs and eat Aveiro soft eggs. The whole thing is very pleasant.

Nice place to visit. The river cruise was just meh, surrounding view nothing exciting to see really - can skip this. We arrived way early to the meeting point but we didn’t know it was wayy further up the hill, if we never ask the other tour group team. Pls update the exact meeting point to avoid similar issues. We had nice short coffee break with local delicacies. Pit stop at Costa Nova was just too short, 15 mins given and not enough time to take photos, walk around enjoying the view of the beautiful houses stretch and buy souvenirs. And top of that after all these have to make a u-turn back to the bus, bus should move forward instead. Not sure why’s the rush.

Maria was funny, warm and shared nice stories with us. She recommended places to visit, good food and nice traditional music. The best tour guide that I had in Porto!! Thank you!!

The Portuguese guide explained very enthusiastically in English, and we saw the striped village of Abeino and the Atlantic Ocean for 4 hours. ^^ I'm making good memories in Porto. ㅎㅎ We leave at 7:40 and return between 12:30 and 13:00.

Everything about the Aveiro tour needs improvement. 1) The pick-up point was incorrect and different from what was stated on the voucher, which caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. 2) The guide seemed disengaged and was in his own world throughout the tour, with very little interaction or effort to enhance the experience. 3) Water was supposed to be provided according to the voucher, but none was given. Overall, the experience did not match what was promised and was quite disappointing.
