The tour information will be sent to you by WhatsApp in the afternoon of the day before. There is no information until then. I was worried that I would not be able to take my suitcase to the Sahara, but they took me in the car and carried me. The driver, Tariq, was very friendly, drove with confidence, and spoke English well. The journey to the Sahara took 8-9 hours, including breaks. It went by in a flash if you watch the changing scenery, and Tariq explained various things to me, so I enjoyed it very much. The lunch place we stopped at on the way was a buffet for 120 MAD per person (including 1D). I did not know this in advance, so please be careful if you are short on money. The Sahara is spectacular! We experienced heavy rain when we arrived, but we were able to go camel trekking, and at night it cleared up, and we were able to enjoy campfires, Berber music performances, and stargazing. The next morning we had dinner at 7:00, watched the sunrise from 7:30, and rode the camels back to the car around 8:30. The camel drivers and those who help you take photos during the sunrise viewing will ask you to buy souvenirs or give a tip. It will be difficult to refuse, so I recommend that you have small change on you so that you can give a tip as a token of appreciation. (I didn't have any small change so I ended up paying 1000 yen in Japanese yen.) The photos they take are amazing.
pedro is a good driver. And he gives a gift for free that sahara sand in the bottle. it was a wonderful trip in my life ever been.
Dang super amazing tour. if you are looking for a tremendously rewarding tour, you should not miss this. The exotic beauty of the Sahara will take you to a magical moment of your life. From the camel ride, witnessing the sunset and the sunrise the next morning are the epic highlights of the tour. We were so fortunate to have Rockstar Tarik, who drove and accompanied us to Merzouga. He really took good care of everyone of us. Morocco is lucky to have someone like you. Kudos and Chokran Habibi Tarik 🙏.
I had an amazing experience during my excursion in the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Badr, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the trip. He went above and beyond to assist us, even helping us change our final destination when needed. We really appreciated the flexibility and willingness to accommodate our request. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Sahara!
Our guide was excellent, and we didn't encounter any issues during the tour. Although it was a long bus ride, there were plenty of breaks along the way, making it comfortable.
I went on a 2-day, 1-night desert tour of Fez with Driver Imad14! I traveled alone and signed up for a tour, and I felt very reassured because Imad took great care of me. I really enjoyed the desert tour and I want to come to Morocco again.
I booked this tour last minute the day before departure, and I was able to join the tour very smoothly. I went alone, but thanks to our kind and thoughtful guide "Ottman," I had a great time with the other members of the tour group. I will never forget the time I spent in the beautiful desert🥹
abdul was the best guide on this trip, he helped a lot with literally everything, very recommended , the trip also very fun, unforgettable trip
My friend and I joined this 2-day, 1-night Sahara Desert tour, and it was a pretty solid experience! The itinerary was nicely put together—there were some cool stops along the way, and spending a night under the desert stars was definitely a highlight. Nothing felt rushed, which was great. Our driver, Houcin, totally stood out—he’s super polite, always chill, and his steady driving made us feel completely safe the whole trip. Honestly, he made everything so much smoother and enjoyable! For anyone thinking of going, here’s some advice: There’s nowhere to buy drinks once you’re in the desert, so stock up on soda or orange juice at the shop before the camel ride—the camp provides water, but it’s nice to have options! You can bring your own suitcase, and the local staff are awesome about carrying it to the camp for you. There are showers, which is a plus, but don’t expect consistent hot water—power cuts happen, and it’s a bit unreliable. The 2-day trip felt just right; it’s mostly about taking photos, but the scenery is stunning—endless dunes and amazing sunsets. Definitely worth doing!
Friendly and enthusiastic tour guide Imad14 was responsible and drove steadily. He gave us local specialties to taste on the way and gave us Sahara sand packaged in gift bottles at the end of the trip. I changed the itinerary and Imad14 helped me quickly. It was a great experience.
