The Yongpyong Resort is located at a very inhabitable range of 700 meters above sea level. Yongpyong Resort is found at the eastern edge of Asia, about 200km from Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. With an annual snowfall average of 250cm, the surrounding area possesses a beautiful environment, which allows for the enjoyment of a wide array of winter sports including skiing from mid-November to early April. We bought this Alpensia package but the agency then told me that it's no longer available (peak season issue?) and transferred me to the resort next to it (Yongpyong monopark), which is nice as well, but the package is slightly different on the ski rental (1 day versus 2 days) so make sure you look into it in details. Anyways, overall experience was great, getting the agency was a lot easier to get aroud esp. when not many people understand english there.

It was cold at -8 degree celsius when we were there. We are so lucky that it snowed the second day when we were taking the ski lessons. We had a lot of fun and learned how to ski and tried to take the ski lift and ski down the hill. Accommodation was clean and spacious. Bus ride was smooth and comfortable. Will come again next time :)

There are special trains available from Seoul. Don't worry about traffic problems. The hotel you stay in is comfortable and skiing is refreshing for 2 days.

All was good. Start from the driver who pick up & drop us to resort. The package we got also perfect. Good Condominium with nice view. Many food court with variety taste. We love it.

We have bought for 4 person’s trip. We have given a room at tower condominium with ondol. The accomodation not that comfy since the ondol is not clean & thick. However, its directly next to the ski place & mount balwangsan.

The sightseeing gondola is awesome. The view on top is breathtaking. We walked to the summit of dragon peak and it’s an amazing experience. The ski is a wonderful experience.

Nice experience and it is not expensive at all because they include almost everything in the packages such as ski equipment rental, gondola ticket, ski class, sledding ticket (except the ski clothes rental)
