About

The Tokyo Tower is a communications and observation tower in the Shiba-koen district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan, built in 1958. At 332.9 meters (1,092 ft), it is the second-tallest structure in Japan. The structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations. The tower's main sources of income are tourism and antenna leasing. Over 150 million people have visited the tower. FootTown, a four-story building directly under the tower, houses museums, restaurants, and shops. Departing from there, guests can visit two observation decks. The two-story Main Deck (formerly known as the Main Observatory) is at 150 meters (490 ft), while the smaller Top Deck (formerly known as the "Special Observatory") reaches a height of 249.6 meters (819 ft). The names were changed following renovation of the top deck in 2018.[4] The tower is repainted every five years, taking a year to complete the process. In 1961, transmission antennae were added to the tower. They are used for radio and television broadcasting and now broadcast signals for Japanese media outlets such as NHK, TBS, and Fuji TV. The height of the tower was not suitable for Japan's planned terrestrial digital broadcasting planned for July 2011 for the Tokyo area. A taller digital broadcasting tower, known as Tokyo Skytree, was completed on 29 February 2012. Since its completion in 1958, Tokyo Tower has become a prominent landmark in the city, and frequently appears in media set in Tokyo.

There is no time limit for taking photos of Tokyo Tower’s popular spots, so people generally choose to go there in the evening, and I think the best photos are taken in the sun! You can take beautiful photos of Tokyo Tower🗼. There will also be art exhibitions, souvenir shops, and restaurants on site!

This experience can capture the beautiful scenery of Tokyo Tower during the day and night, but it is a bit confusing to reach the 52nd floor.

The exchange is very simple, very convenient and saves money to use. There is still a difference between going during the day and at night. I like Tokyo Tower very much!

Iconic! This is a must when in Tokyo. I grew up seeing this tower in animes, and I was not disapointed. The skytree is newer and taller, but Tokyo Tower has a charm to it. I only went up to the first observatory deck, I think the top one must be even better. Would recommend 100%! A dream come true to see this place!

You can see Tokyo Tower from the viewing platform. Unfortunately, there are lights turned on in the direction of Tokyo Tower, and taking pictures will reflect inside.

it's been ages since I was last time I visited the Tokyo Tower. I was very impressed how they improved the experience by adding visual affects and enhancing the mood at night. A definite must go while in Tokyo. Purchasing the tickets through Klook was effortless. Just remember to redeem the actual paper ticket on the counter just right to the ticket cue.
